Join us today while we discuss the destruction Mother Nature left behind back in 1903! In the early morning of April 29th 1903 a great disaster struck in Alberta Canada. At around 4:10 a. m. a large section of Turtle Mountain collapsed. This massive rockslide came rushing down the mountain burying the town of Frank beneath tons of debris. Families businesses and homes were lost in an instant. The event forever changed the lives of the people in that area leaving a tragic mark on history. When you drive through this area you can see the remains of the rock that came crashing down, and get a feeling for natures strength. The rock is a reminder of a past event that changed the town forever. Today people come to see this sight learning about the town's history and the challenges it faced.
