#43: Hvordan bruke biometricks og -hacking i utvikling? - Lars Christian Larsen

#40. Våg å værra dæ sjøl og la andre skinne - Solfrid Flateby

This episode is in Norwegian; enjoy texted version on YouTube.

    Lytt til eller se episoden om du er nysgjerrig på å bli enda bedre kjent med hu Solfrid personlig og ikke minst lære om;

    - Hvordan vi alle kan finne vår drivkraft til å skape det livet vi ønsker? - Hvordan vi kan lære av både gode og dårlige ledere og bruke det til kraft for å gjøre ledelse enda bedre selv.

    - Hvordan balanser autentisitet og det å værra oss sjæl med klokskap for å få til det vi vil i livet?

    - Hvordan bygge robusthet i oss selv og andre rundt oss?

    - Hvordan du kan skape suksess gjennom å lære å våge å prøve alt du ikke dauer av, og få alle folk du møter på din vei til å føle seg verdifulle.

#39. Get yourself back on track - Professor Gunvor Dyrdal

When life serves us some curveballs, we could all need some tools to get our selves back on track.

As I recently lost my mom and are saying goodbye to my workplace for 8 years, I find myself coming back to silence, meditation and positive psychology to grief, digest and then create clearity towards building a new future.

And I couldn't think of a better person to guide us through some of these tools to listen inwards, to process and give us some new perspectives on life, than Gunvor Dyrdal, who is a professor in mindfulness and positive psychology at the Norwegian University for Technology and Science.

You should listen to this weeks episode if you want to learn about...

    - How to get yourself through the curve balls life throws at you.

    - Why grieving properly is important to be able to move on.

    - How to find meaning in life, by shifting your perspective.

    - The importance of gratitude and acceptance for a better life.

    - How to get started with listening inwards, silence and mediation.

    - The power of going through it together with your community.

Thanks for listening and we wish you A regenerative week ahead!

#38. Kamalisa for President - Lisa Cooper

It's getting closer and closer to the American election, and I must say Im a bit nervous for the outcome. I guess a lot of the world its holding its breath at the moment.

To calm my self down, I needed to talk to an American activist, that can give me some insight about whats going on down there and give me some hope that there's still many Americans out there that want to create a better world and wants Kamala to win the election.

It would be such a great step for the world, if America in a couple of days could get its first female president. I would say the world needs it. And I also suggest Lisa running for president in the future after listened to all her wisdom in this episode.

Get to know a future presidential candidate, that has many similarities with the current running one, in this episode of A regenerative future.

You should listen to the episode if your curious on:

    - How Lisas journey from Harlem to Oslo, thought her to focus on strengths.

    - What she learned from her great role model of an activist Grandma.

    - The cool effects of reversed mentoring.

    - How you can support integration of youth and adult immigrants, to create a better society for us all.

    - The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion backlash movement, that might take us backwards.

    - The American election, the burden of being mixed race and hopes for the future.

The world needs more leaders like Kamala and Lisa. So I vote Kamelisa for president.

#37. Finding more meaning in our work lives - Elham Binai

The fall is definitely here, so get your beanies on, bring a big smile and some headphones and get your ass out for a walk in the crisp fall weather to enjoy the beautiful colours.

If walking and listening is not for you, my talk with Elham Binai will also for sure bring you the beanie feeling, hopefully a smile on your face, some crisp topics and some colourful reflections. So you might as well enjoy it indoors with a blanket and a warm cup of something delicious.

Elham is a seasoned CHRO with an extensive global career, she now runs her own global leadership consultancy and work with a lot of exciting companies within AI and tech.

On her sparetime she does meaningful stuff like sitting in the board of Plan Norway and walking around smiling with her hat on.

Listen to this weeks episode of A regenerative future if your curios on; - How we all can use our upbringing, in Elhams case fleeing from war, and the values that our life has instilled in us to lead better for the future?

    - Faith, spirituality and scriptures and how those can help us to tackle changes that are coming our way and the great leadership lessons they serve.

    - How being unapologetically ourselves also at work, links to great mental health.

    - Why the happiness index doesn’t make meaning and needs to be replaced with the meaningful index.

    - Whats broken with the modern day slavery and whats making us so sick, fat and (not so) happy?

We are off course ending on a high note on the solutions to create better lives for us all.

Thank you for listening. Wish you a great unapologetic week with lots of meaning!

#36. Work less with more impact - Sara UIdal

Haven't we all wished that our days had some extra hours?

What if we have got it all wrong this whole time, and it's not about more hours, but how we use them? Or maybe we could even do with less? The future might be so bright that we all need to wear shades!

I definitely needed to get to the bottom of some research that shows that working a 4 day work week gives more output in productivity, than working a normal 5 day work week. And more healthier and fulfilled people.

Who better to invite for a chat than the amazing Sarah Uldal, which is a partner in 4 day week global and helps companies move towards a more sustainable shorter work week, or just implementing some of the principles that makes us more productive and live better lives?

Listen to this weeks episode if you want to understand how:

    1. You can work less, with more impact.

2: A 4 day work week could look like.

3: You can either implement some of the great principles or if you want, go all the way.

4: We can live better and more balanced lives with the time we have.

Wish you a regenerative week ahead and hope you get some great tips from us this week, so you can live your best life now!

#35. A joyful culture ride - Annicken Day

The world and our workplaces could need a whole lot of more joy infused into it, so who better to invite to this episode of A regenerative future than Annicken Day, which has joy as her guiding star in life.

Annicken is a best selling author, key note and Ted-X speaker and expert in workplace culture, she has joy as her guiding star.

She started her career getting fired from a job when she tried to coach her leader to treat their people a bit better (an experience we share). Then she understood that she needed to embark on a journey to improve workplace cultures and build better leaders.

She is passionate about the importance of realising our dreams now, as Annicken just did. To spoil it a bit, it involves working from anywhere, some sun and just a little bit of wine.

We talk about going from making work not suck, to being a thriving place and how joy and passion is important parts of a thriving workplace.

We get to know Maya, the fictional businesswomen from her book, who I think we all can relate to. I at least felt like the story of Maya is the story of me. Or maybe it's you?

And then we end on the importance of once in a while have a proper touchdown with yourself to transform, and how that can look like.

We wish you a transformative fall ahead and a joyful ride in this episode of A regenerative future!

#34. Mentored by the president - Kathleen Mathisen

Welcome to the first episode of season 2 of A regenerative future, where we in every episode invite inspiring guests who all have in common that they contribute to create as many plusses as possible in the world. Thats what regeneration is all about.

In this episode we have invited Kathleen Mathisen, which is the Chief HR Officer in Grieg Seafood, she is an award winning inspiring leader and a mother of two.

We are talking about holding on to the summer vibe as long as we can and the great habits from summer we aim to take with us into the coming season. Then dreaming ourselves back to a wonderful upbringing in Mauritius. Where she was so fortunate to have her great uncle (aka the president) as a close mentor. Yes, you get to hear all his advices in this episode.

We walk through how she managed a successful transition to a colder North, and what made her win the Sunniva award for her outstanding leadership in 2019. We might also touch upon the future of a Norwegian salmon or two.

But then as lightning from clear skies, she faced a sudden downfall in 2021, when a personal crisis hit her right in the head. Literally. We cant end this great story, before the hero has been able to rise again. So we finish off by talking about how she with one step at the time got herself back on track and what we all can learn from her journey.

Wish you all a great listen and hope you all are able to bring your great habits from summer into the coming season!

#33. Textiles is the new plastic - Vibeke Krohn

Did you know that the textile industry is responsible for more than 8% of the total Co2 emissions, which is more than both airplanes and boats?

Im wondering why we dont talk more about our own overconsumption of clothes and the industry that encourages us to consume way to much clothes. We are fuelling an industry that is both destroying our planet and creates large islands of clothes in landfills all over the world.

Its about time we as consumers take action and its about time companies within the industry does the same.

Finally this week, we got the great news with passing of new legislation in Norway that makes it easier to sell reused clothes and other products. Hopefully that will take us some steps on the way.

One of the companies that also tries to take us there, and which has had worldwide success with their recycling of plastic bottles, is Tomra. Now they are aiming to conquer the textile industry and make it circular.

This week we are lucky to get to speak to Vibeke Krohn, who has taken on the important role as CEO for Tomra textiles. She has a passion for creating a better world and making sure we use our resources wisely and hopefully over and over again.

So if you are curious on how we can change one of the worst industries and how you can contribute. Then tune in to this weeks episode of A regenerative future.

With Tomra´s previous success with plastic bottles, Im hopeful that they will contribute to make one of the worst industries become a bit better.

Lets all be a part of the change and do our share fare in consuming less!

Im so sick and tired of all the talking about a more diverse and inclusive world, when most people and companies dont do near enough to really move the needle.

Since then she has moved back to the US and written a truly inspiring book about how we can take the lead in our own lives.
