Women Who Travel | Condé Nast Traveler
    Condé Nast Traveler

Each week, host and Condé Nast Traveler editor Lale Arikoglu shines a light on some of those stories, interviewing female-identifying guests about their most unique travel tales—from going off-grid in the Danish wilderness to country-hopping solo—sharing her own experiences traveling around the globe, and tapping listeners to contribute their own memorable stories. Lila: The Podcast
    Alexa Jo Schafer

Hi! I’m Alexa Jo, but you may hear me called Alexa, Lex, Jojo, or Joj on the show.

I founded Lila by Alexa Jo, home to a blog, community, events, and now a podcast.

Lila is defined as: "a wholehearted contentedness upon the recognition that every happenstance in one’s life thus far has led this this very moment, in this very place, with these very people."

I wrote a whole piece about why I chose “Lila” that you can find on my blog.

Each week I’m joined by a different guest to talk about all kinds of topics. This started as I was interviewing cool people I met while traveling, but then I thought about how my people back home had a lot of important things to say too. Now, It's much more. From solo travel, to mental health, to social causes, to the meaning of life…we’re tackling it all.

I dream of building a community, writing a couple novels, lifting-up others, and talking about real-life sh*t.

Need some company, a belly laugh, or a hand to hold? Listen to Lila.

    Hello, Nature
    Dustlight Productions, REI Co-op Studios
Hello, Nature is back! In season 1, Misha Euceph traveled across the country to share the unknown stories of America’s National Parks. In season 2, Misha is back on the road in her Subaru Outback Wilderness, and this time she’s exploring nature right outside our front doors in cities across the country – from Los Angeles to Atlanta and Portland to New York City. She’s hitting the trails, camping out at local preserves, and running alongside local changemakers to answer the questions: What makes these outdoor spaces so important? How do we access, protect, and engage with these spaces? And who are the leaders of color helping to get people outside?

    Ramblings
    BBC Radio 4

Clare Balding and guests share inspiring conversations while walking in the great outdoors.

Fresh air and nature, wonderful views and uplifting chat, each week Clare hikes in a different part of our glorious countryside. Walking side by side is the perfect way to cover a huge range of subjects: literature, art, wildlife, nature, taking on personal or physical challenges, dealing with grief, confronting preconceptions about the kind of people who love to ramble.

The conversations are as varied as the landscapes we find ourselves in. If there's a recurring theme, it's the accepted truth that 'solvitur ambulando' - 'it is solved through walking': The sense of wellness, the benefits to mental health, easy companionship, or sometimes just the sense of solitude that being alone in nature brings.

Few things are better than going for a good walk. That's what we aim to share each week on Ramblings with Clare Balding.
