Jesse, also known as Basic Printer, is a musician and creative. Jesse describes himself as a small creative man who thrives on authenticity. Jesse goes by Basic Printer because he is an open book who merely produces what's always been inside of his head. Through a conversation with Jesse, it is easy to tell that he truly walks the walk here. Jesse is unapologetically himself and it's a breath of fresh air. Jesse loves video games and finds inspiration from them in the music that he creates. In a world where it is easy to get caught up in what's "hot." Rather, Jesse just focuses on being himself. It's exciting to hear that Jesse is continuing to put out music and will be on an upcoming tour!

Mike is making a return to the podcast but this time he is joined by Madeline. Last time we talked to Mike, he was going through his schooling to become an Occupational Therapist (OT). After completing his degree, a lot of studying, and passing his board exams, Mike is finally in his career as an OT. Madeline is also an OT and she shares a bit about her experience and how she got into the professional. Mike and Madeline share their stories and their perspectives as OTs. While chatting, I found quite a bit of similarities but also some differences between the two of their jobs and journeys to the OT career. It was great to hear that Mike is still working on content and trying to combine both of his passions of helping others and content creation. While content isn't a passion of Madeline's, it is great to see that she has found a career that is fulfilling to her and one where she can make a difference.

In this episode we have a solo episode where I reflect back on 2023. I’ve never been one to look at my podcast metrics, but, once a year when I get my Spotify Wrapped for Podcasters I take a look at how the year went. It’s so awesome to see some positive growth with the podcast this past year. I love having the podcast, so, it’s great to be able to maintain support and encouragement - thank you all, it means more than you know. In addition to talking through some podcast metrics from 2023, I share a bit about how my 2023 went. For both the podcast and my personal life 2023 has been a good year. Looking forward to another great year! Thank you all for the support!

Claire is a chef, foodie, and a lover of all things food. Throughout her whole life, Claire always had a love and passionate for food. From an early age Claire would experiment with cooking and knew that that was her path in life. Fast forward to today and Claire is a chef at Albena, a fine dining restaurant located in Detroit, Michigan. Albena is a Chef's Tasting Menu that uses thoughtfully sourced ingredients. Hearing everything that goes into the dining experience that you get at Albena was absolutely fantastic. As a lover of food myself, it's very interesting to hear about how much love and time goes into the fine dining establishment. While fine dining establishments can have a lot of similarities, it was cool to learn about how Alebena differentiates itself from other restaurants. While Claire makes her living by creating elegant and elevated dishes, it was cool to hear that that isn't always the way that she cooks. Claire shares a few cooking hacks that can elevate basic meals and shares a bit about her passions and interests outside of food. I am happy to report that this chat has helped my cooking skills lol. I cannot wait to check out Albena and enjoy a one of a kind dining experience.
In this episode Claire talks about food, letting go, having fun, and much more!

Dan is a fellow Central Michigan University graduate where he completed both his undergrad and graduate degrees. Dan’s academic background is in business and now he is a Financial Management Technician for the Air National Guard. Before finding his way to his current role, Dan experienced basic training where he went through intense physical and mental training with the Air National Guard. Dan has always been passionate about sports and fitness so the physical aspect of basic training was something that Dan felt was reminiscent to his days as an athlete. However, the mental aspect of basic training was where the real work came. Dan took the skills that he learned as an athlete and an RA in college and utilized those skills to help him push through basic training. Through everything, Dan has had his faith to guide and ground him. Dan is extremely passionate about his faith and it plays a major role in his life. Dan is also a husband and father and those are the most important roles that he has in his life. Dan has always been a great, stand up guy and it’s exciting to hear all that he has been up to. I have no doubt that he will continue to do really great things for his family and for this world.
