一回目に死んだのは、僕が中学生の時。

The first time he died was when I was a junior high school student.

じいちゃんは急に仕事に行かなくなった。

Grandpa suddenly stopped going to work.

それから

From that time

じいちゃんは家で一日中寝るようになった。

Grandpa went to sleep at home all day long.

じいちゃん、どうしたの。

Grandpa, what's the matter?

嫌なことでもあったの。

僕は怖くて聞けなかった。

じいちゃんは酒も飲まないし煙草も吸わない。

でも、久しぶりにじいちゃんに会えた。

でも、じいちゃんは僕に言った。

じいちゃんが作るラーメンは、世界一美味しかったよ。

The ramen that you made was the best in the world.

また一緒にスーパーに買い物に行こうよ。
