I’ve got a yowie sighting and a scary paranormal episode for you today, folks. Mitch joins us from the Cranebrook/Castlereagh NSW area, which is just on the western edge of Sydney and the eastern edge of the yowie hotspot of the Blue Mountains. Mitch starts off with sharing what happened one night in around 2016 when he and a bunch of friends decided to investigate the local rumours about ghosts surrounding one of the local cemeteries. Mitch then tells us about the yowie he saw 10 years ago, just down the road from the first story, in Cranebrook NSW in 2015.

Our guest this week, Liz, is a long-time yowie experiencer, and we're talking two decades’ worth of experiences, both at her previous home in QLD and also throughout her years travelling around the country. What makes her experiences so unique is that she has actually heard dooligarl voices many, many times over the years, and because of her background as a linguistic anthropologist, she has a unique set of skills that enabled her to recognise the vocalizations she heard as a language, but not a human language. Liz has also experienced yowie mindspeak and she’s going to share that with us, too. This is a fascinating chat and we're really looking forward to sharing it with you.

We’re leaning into the paranormal this week with the fabulous Dolly from Kyneton Paranormal. Dolly runs paranormal investigations and has her own podcast and was previous YC guest a few years ago. She returns this week to share with us a remarkable story that delves into the tragic case of the missing Beaumont children. Many of you will have heard of their story, but for those who haven’t, the three Beaumont children, Jane, Arna and Grant, vanished from an Adelaide beach on 26th Jan 1966. The police investigation into their disappearance is ongoing, the people responsible have never been formally identified or charged, and what happened to them is a mystery – well, it was until now. During one of Dolly’s recent investigations, the spirit of Arna came through and when Dolly realised who it was and what she wanted – and she was asking for help - she started working with Arna, and then Arna’s siblings, to piece together what happened, and to help their spirits cross over and find peace. Arna told Dolly and her team what happened to them, why their bodies haven’t been found and who did it. The success Dolly and her team had with this case started an inundation of spirits wanting Dolly and her team’s help to find peace both for themselves and their living family members.

I received a message from a lovely young woman called Alyssa who told me her grandfather, Des, had a sighting in 2007 between Cudmirrah and Mondayong NSW. Des hadn’t been able to talk about his experience much because when he initially shared it with a handful of people, he wasn’t taken seriously and made to feel like he must be losing his mind. He’d kept it to himself since then, but really wanted the chance to talk about what happened and what he saw, so his granddaughter reached out to me and arranged for me to call him. What he saw made such an impression on him that many years later he still remembers it vividly.

I have such an enthralling chat lined up for you today, my friends. When Deb bought a remote holiday cabin in Nova Scotia, Canada, in 2021, she couldn’t have imagined that she was about to experience something truly mind-blowing - up close and personal sasquatch sightings. Before she spent her first summer there, she knew nothing about the forest people, until they started letting her know they were there with unusual sounds and smells. That progressed to full-blown sightings and mindspeak, and she’s joining us to today to share some of those astonishing experiences with us.

I’ve got a really cool show for you today, my friends, definitely in the realms of kooky and spooky. We’re talking an altogether different kind of cryptid, one I had never heard of before until Dave shared his story with me. Dave was fishing up near the Burdekin dam, near Moranbah, in QLD and got a bit lost. Trying to find his way back, he stumbled upon two very large birds, that took flight when they saw his car approaching. It was then Dave realised that these weren’t like any birds he had ever seen, they were something infinitely stranger.

We welcome the a-MAZ-ing Karen Pinnock back to the show to share her astonishing recent yowie sighting from the Cowwarr Dam VIC area. Karen is a gifted psychic-medium-channel-healer and she's an integral part of the Yowie Central engine room. She regularly spins me out with her remarkable ability to communicate with yowies and other cryptids and energy beings using mindspeak and I'm looking forward to her spinning you folks out too. She's also going to share a message from the dooligarls to us, some of the meanings behind their stick markers and other fascinating insights.
I also share a brief yowie sighting from Tasmania sent in by a listener.
