So many things can trigger a cycle of stressful news after another. The world we live in now, is so fast-paced, demanding and sometimes can put us on edge. We are constantly trying to keep up with the changing news story and events in our lives. This ranges from pandemic to economic down and to personal bleak future. It can range from loss of loved ones to loss of relationship or job. The cycle of bad news leading to stress can be unrelenting that we want to run and hide.
The fact that we always carry the world with us all the time thanks to our smart devices and social medias makes this a very unhealthy situation to find ourselves in especially when the cycle of bad news is unrelenting.
These sustained stress can have a toll on our mental health.
This episode is aimed at highlighting ways we can protect our mental health and navigate these cycle of stressful and unpleasant news.
