1. Other than traffic signals, think of things that we see around, that limit us in a good way.

1. How much of an impact does peer pressure have in the life of a teen or youth?
2. Have you experienced peer pressure through social media? Talk about your experience.
3. From the line experiment mentioned in today’s episode, we understand that despite knowing what’s true, people tend to side with what’s false if it is supported by the majority. Have you seen this happening in the real world?
4. What will you do when you face peer pressure in life?
5. What are the ways in which you can be peer pressured into doing things you don’t want to?
6. List some signs that you can observe in someone who is being peer pressured.
7. What difference does knowing your identity make in fighting peer pressure?

Don’t Hide Your True Identity

1. Why do you think many children of God cover their real identity before the world?
2. What does it mean to be the light of this world?
3. What does it mean to be the salt of this world?
4. What does it take to have an unmasked and authentic relationship with God?
5. Reflect on the most important things you have learned in this series on identity.
Key Verse: Philippians 3:8 - What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ
Reflective Questions:
1. Think of a worldly label that you feel defines you the most at present. Reflect on how you can be free from being defined by such a label.
2. How do you think Paul got to a point where he could consider his achievements as garbage?
3. Jesus’ own family called Him “crazy” (Mark 3:21). How can you stay true to your identity in God when people close to you give you such negative labels?
4. Think of some “good labels” that God wants to place in your life. How can you make those a part of your daily life?

Genesis 2:7 - Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

1. How can you keep your spirit man satisfied?
2. Do you remember a time when you felt emotionally weak or depressed in your soul? What did you do to overcome it?
3. Reflect on what happens in your body, soul and spirit when you go through temptation.
4. Reflect on what happens in your body, soul and spirit during a time of worship.
5. What are some decisions that you can take to honour your body which is the temple of the Holy Spirit?

Key Verse: 1 Samuel 16: 7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

1. Why do you think what’s on the inside matters more?
2. What steps can you take to focus more on what’s inside us?
3. Is there something about you that you are grateful that the Lord did not look at when he chose to call you? (Reflect on this. You may choose to share this with others if you are comfortable).
4. How can you intentionally choose to focus more on what’s inside others?
5. What practical steps can you take to allow what’s inside to be reflected outside?
