Insecurity can make us think “am I good enough?”. Insecurity can lead to things like anxiety, social isolation, perfectionism, doing the most, troubles with relationships, negative self-talk, depression, maladaptive coping (self-harm, eating disorders, suicidal thoughts, substance use, etc).
Listen to this episode to learn how to transcend insecurity, spiral higher when faced with triggers, and meet yourself with self-compassion.
Some strategies for navigating insecurity: challenge negative self-talk with detective questioning, don't believe everything you think, be picky with who you surround yourself with, quit comparing yourself to others, be patient with yourself, and be your own bestie <3
