The day that Ned went AWF! And how we need to give more grace to our strongest (or kindest) soldiers. Shout out to the Simpson fans.
People never let high school go. It is fascinating how those years follow us for the rest of our lives.
Have you ever experienced the sudden passing of a social media friend or associate? I talk about the series of emotions that follow a message from someone I am grateful to have known through social media and how we all can generally make a difference online.
Rest in peace to my actor friend! To respect his family during this time, I am not including his name.
I just finished reading The 10 Critical Laws of Relationship by Robb D. Thompson! It isn't as well-known all some of my other recent reads so I wanted to reflect and share how this book has impacted how I see relationships and my process moving forward.
Shares are looked at as a huge method of support because it's outward-facing. But do shares really produce your desired result? If it's views you seek, then maybe, but if you need analytics on your website, sales, listens, downloads, subscribers, referrals, reviews, then maybe rethink the "lazy" share.
In this episode I talk about my latest realization about shares on social media.
I am grateful for everyone who supports me!

Black at work! I felt the need to touch on some things that some of us experience in the workforce. My friend Jason created theme music for me, but for some reason the music did not come through on the episode. I still want to shout him out @jasonpoetmusic on IG.
After reading Morgan Housel's The Psychology of Money, I am filled with thoughts about money and life! In this episode, I share personal experiences and points from the book. We are all different and that is okay! I do however share some behaviors that hinder people from growing.
Being under the weather totally shifted what was the most productive and ambitious start to 2025. Just shy of February as I prepared to cross the final two tasks off my to-do list I got sick and lost my voice! This is my experience and what I learned.
Said Winifred is back! This is when Winifred speaks her mind on a solo episode. Trash-talking is something we all experience at some point. Whether you are leading the discussion or word gets back to you that someone had your name in their mouth. This episode sheds light on how our words (or silence) make a difference and a few things to consider when figuring out where you stand.
With 20 years as a Chicago police officer, Sgt. Mcclain shares information about community policing and how he has used writing and speaking to help make a positive impact in the world. His book, Searching For Success, is a motivational guide for success that uses police techniques to help people reflect and plan for their lives. The conversation is eye-opening and warm! Much love for officers putting themselves on the line to protect, serve, and bond with the community.

This episode is for elevated book lovers. Our returning guest and friend, Sean P, joins us once again to dive deep into the world of book politics and what makes a great speaker. Tune in for a conversation that's like being a fly on the wall during a casual chat between friends—think of it as the kind of candid, unscripted voice note exchange they share privately on social media. As two authors with diverse experiences and a shared respect for the power of words, their discussion (99% freestyle) is as rich in substance as it is lighthearted and fun. If you're a fan of meaningful yet easygoing conversations, this episode is a must-listen. It isn't the usual format for interviews but that is what makes it special!

I've hinted that the name of the podcast would be changing. The time is NOW! Don't worry, a new name doesn't mean a whole new show. In this short episode, I share what to expect from the podcast in 2025 and beyond. Thank you for your support.
New cover art is on the way!
Closing 2024 with a song, a quick trip down memory lane, and a message of thanks.
I took a moment to talk about where I stand with this podcast and how success looks and feels different for us all.

Beyond the Pitch a Friend Space, we discuss the trials of dating and how having so many options can make it difficult to make a true love connection. Also how the isolation of remote work can make it hard for people to find new people to bond with.
