Growing old and growing up are two completely different things. When we believe we already know everything, we become old. When we don't stop asking questions and learning, we grow up. Which, for me, is simply - WONDER. We wonder a lot in life, from mundane experiences to life-changing ones. In this safe space, we wonder aloud on random, typical, and strange questions in our everyday life. Together, we get to discover (or maybe not!) the answers through the usual, casual conversations with friends. Talk to me on Instagram @monicalerit

What was it like being a 2nd gen K-pop fan?

The 2nd gen era in K-pop (2005-2011) was said to have the biggest influence in today's k-pop industry. This was a period of rapid growth in K-pop, both domestically and internationally. This marked the beginning of the “Hallyu Wave” in Asia and eventually extending to other parts of the world. What was it like to be a fan during those times? What challenges did we face, and what do we miss the most? Most importantly, how has the k-pop scene evolved since then? This episode is both a time machine for 2nd gen k-pop fans and probably an awakening for new k-pop fans.
