Ahh, Mercury Retrograde, that often mentioned astrological phenomenon. This occurrence gets tossed around a lot, often with the joking question of "Is Mercury in retrograde?" attached to it. But what does it really mean? I am answering this question from a symbolic and energetic focus, offering language around what the significance is when a sky body appears to move backwards. Hint, all bodies in motion affect other bodies, including our earth mother body, and our own human bodies. Mercury as a symbol represents the mind, communication, and intellectual processes. We use these processes to create relational energy and experiences. When mercury is retrograde, we are given the time to retreat, review, reimagine, and remember what we have been creating, with a deeper intensity. When used with intention, it is a fruitful time to close loops, and revisit past happenings to let them go once and for all. With the sacred numerology of 3 as a support during a retrograde, we are in a position to retreat and allow the life/death/rebirth cycle to come full circle. This is a very potent process, and it often asks us to be committed to our own rest and retread in order to allow it to fully land and integrate something that is asking for our embodiment. Where in our lives do we feel this call? And how are feeling this lately? What themes in our lives are recurring, coming up again, or having another go? Let the retrograde motion be your teacher and your guide to greater purpose, freedom and liberation from past experience, old choices, and outdated programming. Blessed to have you here. So much love to you. Retrograde blessings, Kristi

This week, I am joined by my friend and very wise woman, Kathryn C. Robinson. Kathryn is a beautiful, mellifluous being, who (you will hear!) expresses her unique essence and earthbound medicine through use of her voice. She is a movement and body-based practitioner who focuses her expressions on helping others unearth and release trauma often experienced (or expressed) by grief in its many forms. She uses various therapies, such as yoga, kirtan, and meditation, and her musical background and talent employs her into a wider range of modalities, including sound and vocal expression to help regulate and discharge emotional material from an individual essence. During our conversation, she takes us on a bodily journey; one that brings us to moments of hallelujah in the body. Though we can experience great pain, she urges us to understand that anytime we access and move emotion from within, it is deep cause for praise and celebration, as the result is a piece of the Self being returned, renewed and restored. From our own grief stories, to the empowered agency we can create from the physiological awareness generated by body based practices, you will find yourself having more than just a moment with your own grief. Our time together in conversation is one of reckoning, recognition, and true release, leading to wider understanding of our own expression and power.
In our conversation, we discuss:
If you are ready to explore these themes and more in a loving conversation, please join us. We love to have you hear.

This week on the show, I am taking us into the lessons of grief: what it means to grieve, what we are actually doing and creating when we grieve, and how we are reckoning and retrieving pieces of ourselves and our power through the cycles of grief. Grief is a practice that takes us further through the doorway of our own medicine. The essence of it as a practice brings us to the understanding that we must grieve, and grieve fully in order to move through soul loss--that sensation of stickiness in despair and hopelessness that can grow if we don't move through it--and into the deeper work of reckoning, reclamation, retrieval and remembering. It can be a long journey, seemingly endless as we may find ourselves cycling through older energies that were not grieved fully at the time of their happening. Sometimes, we can carry grief for just a moment, which helps us redirect our presence and intention to a higher frequency of clarity. Often, when we are choosing to meet our grief consciously, we are blessed beyond our personal experience. Our grief has the power to write a new future for our children and creations because we are healing ancestral karma patterns that have swallowed grief and emotion and kept them held within the cells, as well as intergenerational pattern inheritance that showed us how to stifle our pain and instead let it blow wonkily out the side in some form of anger, addiction, abuse, or obsession or distortion of another kind. This lesson today about the awareness that grief brings us to, and the medicine that we find within our grief. The human experience can be a steeping process that sets us further into the medicinal essences we are here to embody and bring forth. Grief is a doorway into the medicine. And our sacred responsibility as we move towards our medicine is to walk through the doorway, and all doorways beyond the initial one. Because our healing requires it. Our legacy requires it. Our future selves require it. A'ho

This week on the show, we are recognizing the true essence of the nature of all things: divinity. That soul residing in an earthbound body that looks out into the world from our human eyes. Are we using our eyes to truly see the divine nature of all beings? Maybe. Only if we are willing to meet and greet our discomfort and say, "I don't know how I am going to move through this, and I am going to do it anyway." To give middle world illustration and anecdote of this, I am offering three very personal narratives of times when I saw the divine in beings that I would've not looked at previously. Yes, it is much easier to recognize divine qualities in people we love and appreciate and see already. Our sacred responsibility as embodied, empowered beings, though, is to love all. To See you soon, truly deeply see through the eyes of the divine and recognize and honor the godself of another. Can we see the god or goddess that we are? Have a returned to that true essence of our medicinal nature? If so, then we must turn our eyes to the beings around us, and acknowledge what is beyond the earthbound circumstance of another embodied soul. We must see past the outer vehicle, and look into the eyes of the divine. If we truly wish to lead a spiritual life, full of our own medicinal essences, and resonating with the higher frequencies of love and healing and embodied truth, we must go beyond. To look where we previously have looked away. To meet what we have thought to be unmeetable, or unworthy to be met. We have to go where we think we will never find spirit. And we must see the full divinity there. In ALL beings. In ALL life. And overlook nothing. We are all teachers for each other, we are all students on a sacred journey. We are all part of the same soul university. And we must recognize this now. More than ever the time is now. See through the eyes of the divine. And watch your life, your relationships, your medicine, transform in transcendental ways. A'ho

Continuing on our journey from last week, we are diving further into Ancient Greek myth to understand our own process of individuation and actualization. Referencing the story of Demeter, Persephone and Hades, I retell the myth and uncover its symbology to land the wisdom of the individuation process that actualizes our unique essences for you. Individuation takes place when we, out of rebellion or in answer to our soul's calling, deliberately and intentionally move away from the bonds of our first family and the history we have previously been rooted in in order to create the life we desire. This comes with a choice to move towards initiation (represented by the flower) and will move us towards confronting our demons (Hades) as they rise up into our consciousness. It is then that we move into the Underworld to undertake the process of individuation at a deep psyche level, and when we emerge, we are more of ourselves, standing taller as individuals with unique essences and medicine to offer. I offer the many polarities that we can access from the symbols that, when integrated, bring us into a wholeness that is required to recognize our divinity. If you are on a journey of realization what it is your want for yourself and your life, and are seeking ways to move away from essences that are keeping you from that path, this episode will help you understand the process of individuation in a larger, macro way, as well as the smaller micro lens situations that help push us out of the parameters of our first families and past histories and into the individuated seat of the soul. Be blessed in this journey and know that you are not alone. Love and blessings, Kristi

This week on the show, we are referencing ancient myth and goddess culture to recognize and understand the Beauty of our Underworld journeys and experiences on the path of our soul's evolution I am taking us through the energy of the ancient birthing/destroyer goddess, Hel, who brings us through the fires of our initiation, and into the cavernous seclusion of our shadowy unconscious. We begin our descent with a crossover of the River Styx, the entangled, toxic emotions (water) that we need to face in order to reclaim our shadow. We get on a boat for the crossing, a symbol of the divine direction of the soul, and we pay the ferryman (the goddess as our guide) with something precious to us in order to make the crossing (our comfort / what we know / sacrifice of old ways of being). On our journey through the underworld, we recognize the beauty of transformation being offered to us as we confront the fiery essence of purification. What was is no longer, and we are using our time in the underworld for retrieval, reckoning and remembrance of our own divinity, and of the Medicine we carry and embody. If you are looking to understand the ways that the underworld can work in your life consciously, this episode will bring you on a journey of clarity and recognition. Ultimately, our time in the underworld sets us free, liberates the shadow to transmute into I AM qualities, and brings us further into standing deep and tall in our Original Medicine. Blessed Be. Much love to you all, Kristi

Our Sacred Fire, how do we light it? One way to begin is to follow the trail to knowing what intimidates us, or what we admire in others that we think we do not have within ourselves. Often, these are the qualities that we feel are out of reach for us, and yet, if we pivot towards discomfort and go beyond the veil, we can retrieve these qualities and integrate them into our wholeness. On the other side of discomfort is a deeper knowing of our Medicine, is an actualization of our our sacred fire. Our ability to become the sun, the solar force, of our own lives and legacies is actualized through the awareness of what excites and arouses our passionate nature. What do we love to do, and can we allow ourselves to dream into the feeling of what it would be like to have more of it? And then, can we surrender the vision to the feeling and take the necessary action to keep stoking that inner fire until it becomes sustainably ablaze? Yes, we can. And it starts with making different choices. Lighting that fire does not come from choosing sameness. It comes from consciously choosing the thing that we don't usually choose to do. Making time for our art, our music, our creations, our voice, whatever that may look like, that is a tangible way to begin. We cannot have a life lit by passion and fueled by our highest essence if we do not make the time for that sacred passionate and fiery feeling to come in and live within the realm of our embodied awareness. In this episode, I am encouraging you and affirming you on the trail back to your own sacred internal fire. How to light it will be your choice, and I hope to provide a guided pathway of beginning and remembering the soul-ar truth that is you and your original medicine, your sacred flame. Blessings for the journey of discovery and may much love and joy be found along the way. Amen. ~Kristi
What is plant medicine? Plant Medicine goes beyond the realm of what we may think it is; it includes more than an Ayahuasca ceremony, it goes beyond the "spiritual" retreats we take ourselves on to experience these plant allies. Plant medicine is present for us daily. In fact, some of us are entangled in unconscious codependent habits with plants, and in these ways of relationship, have forgotten their medicinal and sacred essences, and instead sacrificing them to consumerism, recreation, and extraction.
In this space, I am taking us into a conversation that opens our awareness around what it means to be in Right Relationship with plant allies and their original medicine. During our time, I will cover:
I hope you feel intrigued and encouraged to go deeper into your connection with the plant allies in your life, take on the curiosity to learn of plants and their medicinal essences, and are willing to make a conscious attempt to choose the path of the earth keeper through honoring intention when working with plant allies. Thank you deeply for joining and sharing this space with me. I am blessed to share with you. Love, Kristi
The divine Feminine is rising and creating, expanding us into a new realm of what is possible for our lives in this reality. I am joined by Malyssa Harelson, kundalini guide, artist, and divine feminine priestess, who free riffs with me on the experiences we have had recently that point to the shift in energy that brings us further into embodying the divine feminine paradigm. We are noticing the changes in the ways we create, the energy that we allow ourselves to create from, and how we approach the sacredness of creating. We get into what it means to create sustainably, rather than out of scarcity or pressure narratives. We talk about ancient feminine practices that are becoming more and more a part of the channeled reality that many of us continue to work towards establishing in our lives, families and communities. Malyssa goes deep into the need to tend ourselves, as space holders and facilitators, to help us replenish and nourish ourselves. The focus on community and connection in this episode is palpable, and we dance and weave together in a way that honors deep love and connection. Overall, we reflect on the question of what it is that we intend to do as we make our way back into the world as embodiments of a new dream. What is the feminine rising in your life? And how does that look and feel? What does it mean to have fun while also honoring your unique essence and your soul's medicine? Join us to spark a deeper conversation on these topics, and be invited to share your own thoughts and musings with me or with other sacred space holders in your life. Be blessed as you join us for the journey of the exchange. A'ho

This week's episode is a sacred co-creation with a beautiful embodied essence that I value and cherish deeply. Her name is Param Akasha Kaur, wisdom holder of the Rose lineage, Divine Feminine priestess, artist and photographer, and guide for kundalini experiences. She joins me to talk openly about the vulnerability of capturing a soul's essence through visual art, and what it has meant to her to open herself fully to the experience of being both in front of the lens as the subject, as well as the artist behind the lens. We get into the wounded feminine that carries through a first family lineage, and what it means to move through those challenges in a soul-led, truthful and honoring way. She brings us into her creative process, and what it means to be in a feminine vibration when creating for a masculine dominant society. Together, we honor the change we wish to see in the world, and how to invite the feminine voice and inner artist forward in order to create a higher order, and work with a healing set of processes that feel like deep truth. She walks us through the virtues of kundalini yoga and opens our minds to the experience that kundalini can create through our own embodied awareness and intention. She guides us gently, strongly, and with so much love as she walks us through her wisdom journey. We hear of a soul-led legacy that honors the divine mind-heart and leaves us with a gentle imprint of what it means to be Spirit in matter. A'ho Join us next week for a second conversation about the Divine Feminine Rising.

On a solo jam this week, I am taking us deep into our connection with the Earth, and the palpable shifts many of us are feeling through the Earth energy we are gifted with and experiencing this season. Working with Spirit of Place is a deeply shamanic concept, and it is one that can apply to all beings. It is certainly honored by other life of the natural world. For humans, working with Spirit of Place roots into the lifestyle and sacred commitment of the Earthkeeper. An Earthkeeper is an embodied Spirit (human) who takes and renews the sacred commitment daily to hold a vision and take action towards a life of purity that harmonizes and honors the Earth as a sovereign, abundant, blessed being and giver of All Life. When we connect with the Spirit of Place that we find ourselves living within, we honor our own Earth essences and relationship to the Great Mother in a deeper, more guided and connected way. I am using my own sabbatical to the desert of the southwest to speak of connection and catalyzation that can come from working with the sacredness of Spirit of Place. So many of us are sitting on the edge of big, glorious change. A ledge that is asking us "What is the dream? And can you feel it for yourself?" This episode is hopefully here to help you move with these questions and get the downloads and guidance you need in order to fulfill yourself as a sacred medicinal essence who is here to bring something beautiful to manifest. There is deep in the bones stuff resonating and taking place right now. Let this fill you up with affirmation and touch you into your body and your own roots for a sacred fulfilled life. How we are living counts now more than ever. What we are orienting ourselves towards and committing to stretch into is arriving for us to fill up with. Let the old drain away. Let the new take root, and let us consciously begin to lay the foundations for honoring the rest of our lives. Be guided to connect with Spirit of Place for your own Earth medicine to be actualized. Our sacred sojourn through the Earth plane is now. May we honor it as Earthkeepers who carry the blessing of Spirit of Place. A'ho. Thank you for being here with me. With love and many Blessings, Kristi

I am excited to bring you this week's episode because I have wanted to create a discussion for so long, but it just wasn't the right time. And now it is! So this week, we are getting into honoring your sacred space. This is often called boundary work, and I am offering the practice of boundaries as medicine. Instead of using this common term, I am seeking to frame this practice as a way to honor your sacred space as well as yourself as sacred. This is a process of unlayering and retrieving the values with which we desire to align ourselves, and it can start with the question "what do I hold as deeply valuable, nourishing, sustaining, sustainable, and medicinal?" From there, we go on a deeper journey into the spirit of who we are and what we want to stand in as a being of truth. When we learn to assert the honoring of our sacred space, we are saying "this is how I reveal my sacredness to the world, and this is how I wish to be honored as I reveal myself." In short, this practice is a medicinal and healing way to teach others the ways we wish to be treated. This is a really wisdom-wealthy episode, so I would encourage you to join me here and listen with fresh ears, and see these ideas with fresh eyes, and an open heart, while also paying attention to the body response. I hope you will come away with some impactful aha moments, and some new knowledge to take into your practice of honoring yourself, others, and your sacred space within and externally. So glad you are here. Love, Kristi

With this episode, I have had a dream come true! My guest this month is a woman I have admired, tuned into, and have received guidance from through her voice. Her name is Katie B., she is the host of the Real Rebel Podcast, and she is joining me for this week's sacred wisdom jam. This episode is a beautiful snapshot of the human experience, covering all things from growing up as an outsider, being ridiculed for being "different", and the subsequent difficulties of individuation later in life. We cover feeling unheard (even when there is a huge audience listening!) and the low self-worth that can slip in some poisonous narratives when it comes to using our voice. Katie tells us her story. From having a deeply broken heart in Bali, to capturing her voice in new ways in order to create the podcast she always dreamed of doing, her stories of survival, overcoming and becoming are ones that resonate deeply. She is a beacon of light, a ray of sunshine, a true human, allowing her soul to land in her body where it can run the show. And we hear and witness all of that on this episode of the show. To end, we do a card pull and reading for each other, and what comes through resonates! The experience was genuine, and I was blessed to be joined by her, and I would encourage you to spend the next hour or so joining us, as well. You will be so glad you did. And maybe, just maybe, between all the words, resonance, stories, and authenticity of two humans coming together to weave wisdom and experiences, you will feel your soul land. May it be so. A'ho.
