Following on from last week's discussion about how long a rooster could last without a head, we delve deep into the world of fowl again. Dave explains just how to coax a chicken, and even a shark into a trance-like state.
Neil then attempts to elevate the level of discourse by dropping ancient Greece and American Civil Rights attorneys into the chat.
His attempt, as usual, fails. But at least they do answer the perennial question, how many horsepower is a horse?

This episode sees Dave introduce us to the man who eats everything - metal, glass, rubber, you name it, he's ingested it.
Let's call this story of Mr Mangetout, the "dessert". For starters, Neil talks us through just how long a chicken can live without a head and then serves up the delightful tale of the men who paint rabbits for the Tour de France as the "main". Be warned, this part of the show is a bit spicy in its language.

In this week’s episode, Neil reveals the shocking truth behind one top Premier League footballer’s blank navel! And how you do not want to LeBron James yourself in public. Dave goes pubic with his escutcheon and fills us in on the names of the individual Tetris pieces. One of them is called Smashboy! Sure, what more could you ask for?

This week’s episode exemplifies the difference between Neil and Dave.
Neil reads the British Journal of Psychology to research his incredible facts. Dave reads the paper in which he got his fish and chips.
Nevertheless, Dave‘s fishy facts will wow you but not as much as the story of the Irish man who named a fruit and invented hot chocolate. Neil reveals how the price of a bottle of Coca-Cola remained the same for more than 70 years and greatly excited Dave with his talk of 40-foot container standardisation. Add to this the sexual tension of a seed travelling through an armadillo’s alimentary canal and you’ve got yourself an episode.

On this week’s episode, Dave challenges us to identify bands from their pre-fame names. The Polka Tulk Blues Band, Wicked Lester and The Sex Maggots are but a few of the delights he has in store for us!
Neil talks us through the IKEA Effect and how a raunchy study proves it to be true! Enjoy, yiz “Cans of Piss”... that’s such a well-known band. Seriously!

Well, it might be true.
The two lads delve into the truth behind that statement. And if that's not disturbing enough, in Part 2, Dave is still on his Man vs. Animal track.
Can a bear out-eat a man? You're about to find out

Join us this week as Dr. Kit Chapman takes the lads on a journey through history's most bizarre papal accusation. It's even wilder than you can imagine! Certainly worth Neil slightly breaking the podcast's format.
Plus, in Part 1, Dave dives into one of the stranger man vs. beast tales.
Horsepower versus manpower.

Saddle up and set your phasers to "Eh, what?" as Dave introduces us to Bookland. It's a magical place that produces all the tomes you know. We'll let him explain.
Once you've come back to terra firma, let Neil reveal who was the most generous American of the 20th century and who played most unusual baseball match you can imagine.

Well, we've finally reached the zenith of utter nonsense with Dave revealing his new military contractor connections.
Combine this intrigue with how Saddam Hussein was found and a soupçon of top notch papal facts and ladies and gents, we've got ourselves a podcast.

In this week's episode, Dave hijacks Producer Nicky's cricket fact and "goes locust" while also describing a bug that is just the worst!
Neil tells us why the pineapple did not go well at McDonald's, poos at his German home and impersonates a Donegal midge! You need to hear this.

As befits a fact about traffic jams, you’re going to have to wait for it.
Part 2 sees Dave delve into some mind-blowing trivia tidbits about some mind-numbing traffic jams.
There are some quality truth bombs in there but can those little knowledge grenades possible live up to what Neil has described as “a top five fact for the podcast ever” from Part 1? He introduces us to the insects that will tell you how just hot it is. As ever you, dear listener, be the judge

In this week's episode, Neil tells us about the 49 states in the US where it's ok to do something with a deceased person's tattoos and, frankly, you'll never be the same after you hear it!
Dave tells us how porcupines failed at evolution, gives details of a riot over hats that lasted eight days and explains why you shouldn't say Sahara Desert any more!

Fungi. Fun guy? Ah, forget it.
This week's episode starts pleasantly enough and then — make no mistake — turns to filth.
It's very harmless, fun filth, but filth nonetheless. We learn which author received a gift that enabled them to write an all-time classic and, in part two, Dave walks us through how mushrooms create their own weather. The detour in the middle on cereals, however, is quite the adventure.
You won't believe why someone invented cornflakes.

Well we all know the Holy Spirit is everywhere, but which country is in all four hemispheres?
Fear ye not, young David Moore is here to explain. And if that doesn’t whet your trivia appetite, the lads also chat about the 'Man Who Lived Through Doomsday'. It’s a packed episode.
Come for the facts, stay for what can only be described as Dave’s masterful bird impressions.
Imagine Dr Doolittle sustained a serious concussion and you’re close enough.

You know yourself: another day, another session of rhythmically driving yourself to the grave.
Neil explains to Dave just how this exact phenomenon occurred and Dave talks us through the weirdest car names in history. What exactly is a Mysterious Utility Wizard and where would one get one?

In the second episode of this new (dare we say improved?!?) format, Neil tells us about Gino D’Acampo’s problems (no, not those ones) and also how nice mice are. Dave tells us about horseradish, passing by an ass and how he just doesn’t care. It doesn’t make much sense, so you’d better just listen!

The lads are back with a slight amendment. Series 9 sees the two reprobates just talking to one another and not roping in a distinguished but often confused expert to put up with their nonsense.
In this episode’s fact-off, Dave explains which animal in the zoo is by far the most expensive to keep, and Neil responds by walking us through the story of the oldest name in the world.
They also delve into just what Dave will do for sponsorship money. It will come as a surprise to no-one that he’s prepared to do an awful lot of weird stuff for cash.
This may become a theme that will run and run.

In this episode, we unearth the reasons we say Gizmo, Thingamajig or Whatchamacalit with Ursula Kania, Senior Lecturer in English Language and Linguistics at the University of Liverpool! If you think those words are good, wait till you hear the Russian and Dutch versions! Oh, and in part 1, Dave introduces us to a Finnish phrase that we didn’t know we needed but we do because how else could you describe “bouncy cushion satisfaction”?!?
We also reached the incredible milestone of 1,000,000 listens to our little podcast and that makes us so happy and feel so grateful to all of you for listening. Massive thanks to everyone who has made it happen, Eimear, Nicky, Cathal, Willie, Hannah, Jen and so many others along the way. Here’s to another million!

This week, the lads cover the amazing story of why there are 700 nuns’ brains in jars in the US. Clinician and author, Dr Daniel Nightingale talks them through the detailed studies that have been conducted on the organs and what they tell us about dementia and ‘cognitive reserve’.
If that’s not enough, Neil blows Dave’s mind with the fact that the easternmost point and the westernmost point of the USA are only about 70 miles from one another. And, as it’s nearly Christmas, we’ll throw in some chat about mining bird droppings too. Can’t say fairer than that.
