I was born in a Muslim family. I learned to read the Quran from elementary school to Junior High or until my Ustaz (teacher) passed away. I joined the Islamic organization called NII (Islamic Nation of Indonesia) in the year of 1997, which is a prohibited organization in Indonesia. They recruited me to be a jihadist recruiter, male or female. In May 1998, there was a nationwide incident in Indonesia called the tragedy of May 98'. That was a plan by my organization, which shocked me. One of the victims is my friend's sister. She was gang raped by a group of Muslims who left her on the street naked. On January 1st, 1999, I questioned Allah's answer and proved he was a god. Of course, there was no answer. Since that day, I have left Islam and have been agnostic for 13 years. At the beginning of 2011, I started attending church after someone emailed me saying," Jesus Loves me." I became enraged because it insulted me, and I hated the name of Jesus, although I began to like Christian songs. Around the summer of 2012, I played the song" Amazing Love" on my iTunes on a Tuesday evening. There is something about that song. Every time I try to sing along to the sentence: "Jesus, you are my King," my tongue is in pain and numb. I went to my room and shut the door while still trying to say the name of Jesus from that song. Out of my frustration, I shout, "HELP Me, Jesus! And as soon as the name of Jesus came out of my mouth, I felt there was darkness that came out of me violently. A bright light came from the corner of my room. It was bright, so bright, and filled the whole room. As the light went away, I saw my door was half open, just enough for a person to walk in. I feel the peace and never stop calling the name of Jesus until I fall asleep. I shared this experience with my roommate, who invited me to her church for a Wednesday evening service. That night, the pastor (a woman) invited anyone to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, and on that night, I surrendered my life to Jesus. I never looked back until today. I was born in Kabul to Afghan Sunni Muslim family, due to war in Afghanistan we moved to Pakistan, and I grow up there learning about Islam and Muhammad the town we lived in was very strictly religions. I had a curious mind and had lots of questions about Religion. To get those answers I studied the Quran and hadith and the more I tried to learn and go into the further away I drifted from it. In 2010 I came to London to study Software engineering. in 2015 I gave up on Muhammad completely when I read news of child bride. I stopped fasting and praying. I left Islam and surrendered my life to Jesus Christ on June 25th 2019, after few very powerful encounter with Him. I had prayed that night for my Creator to show me somehow who Jesus was and why He had healed me of depression few years prior when I had a dream of Him that was more real than anything I had ever experienced in my waking life. In this dream He filled my body with His out of this world love. Love that i still don’t have true words to describe. He appeared to me in 2015 the first time. I kept this encounter a secrete for over 3 years. I didn’t even know where to begin to tell anyone. I could not understand it myself and I didn’t rwaly know any Christians Though, I knew it was something more real than anything I had ever experienced in my waking life, I was afraid to tell anyone about it. My prayer was something like this, “My God, my Creator, or what ever You like to be called, it doesn’t matter to me! I just want to know the truth and I don’t want to go to hell. I want to go to those loving arms that had hugged me in 2015 and bathed me in love that was pure bliss and had me begging to never let me go. I remember that I was terrified to part from Him. Because at that moment i realized that He was everything i had ever wanted and more! I don’t care what religion I have to follow and I don’t care what I have to call you. I just want to know the truth! And I know You didn’t make me to live confused”. I prayed this from the deepest part of my heart and I truly wanted to know the truth. Never did I think that God will come thru that very night in a way I could have never imagined! He did above and beyond what my mind could have ever imagined. I woke up at 5am that very night to the most clear and piercing voice asking me if I wanted Jesus to truly live in me…not only my ears heard this voice but my entire being could hear the voice and there was no mistaking. This was not a concept that I was familiar with yet and the first words that came out of my ignorant mouth were, “Only if He is God! As I opened my eyes and looked, there stood Jesus beside my bed in the same way he had looked in my dream in 2015. I shouted once more, “Are you God?!” This is when the most magnificent bright light appeared from above and suddenly I was undone! Not a single word needed to be spoken because my entire being knew I was before the living God and all I could do was repent and shout “you are God! You are God! Now, I know!” I did this over and over! Just than I was asked again two more times the same question and I knew i had to surrender and with all of my heart i said, “YES! YES! YES!” No sooner these words left my lips I found myself under His holy presence and I JUST KNEW THAT KNEW THAT KNEW WITH MY ENTIRE BEING THAT WHAT WAS IN FRONT OF ME WAS THE LIVING GOD AND THE ONLY THING I COULD DO WAS REPENT AND SHOUT “YOU ARE LORD! YOU ARE GOD !YOU ARE GOD! I AM SO SORRY I DIDNT BELIEVE YOU BEFORE.”

I was born and raised in Southeast Ohio in a small Amish community where we took our religion very seriously, not only by not having the modern conveniences such as indoor plumbing, electricity or phones, But following the hundreds of religious laws that seemed to always be getting me into trouble! I found it hard to follow all these rules with no explanation as to why we do things the way we do and was often told that it’s best not to ask questions but to trust the bishops and the elders. I am one of 12 children, I was number 8 with 3 sisters and 8 brothers. when I was a very young child my father began to sexually groom me and for my whole childhood he molested me on a daily basis until I was 18 years old, I didn’t know anything else as a child. This resulted me becoming a bitter and angry person, i didn’t know why I’m acting the way I am and eventually I became depressed and I was convinced that I was too far gone for even God to care about me , I had prayed many prayers that God would help me like what dad was doing to me but He never answered my prayers so I was sure He was not pleased with me and that was why my prayers weren’t answered! because my father told me this was his job as a dad and I believed him I never talked to anyone about the abuse, and because the Amish don’t report this or any other kind of abuse to the authorities it would have done no good to talk about it. At the age of 20 I got married to my amazing husband and after about a year into our marriage my brother began sharing some truths from the bible with my husband and though I had very little trust in anything he was saying, my husband kept going to the bible and checking to see if what he was saying was true, after realizing that we were typical Pharisees we became really hungry for the truth and began attending bible studies which is ultimately what got us kicked of the Amish, and with that came the life long shunning, we left the Amish and Joined the mennonite church where we heard the salvation message. Most of my family who had left had these amazing born again experiences but again God wasn’t answering my prayers! This is when I became very suicidal, I really thought that I was just that far gone that even God can’t save me! By now we have 3 kids with number 4 on the way, but it was at this time that I began to listen to Andrew Wommack’s teachings and learning about the God of Grace, I began to understand His love for me and slowly but amazingly I began to trust Him and believe that He really can but not only can He but He WANTS to save me! So on a Sunday morning as I am getting my babies ready for church I fully surrendered my heart and my life to Jesus! Oh the weights that from my shoulders that morning! all I can say is PRAISE HIM!!! My husband and I have since left the mennonite culture and are now both graduates of Charis Bible College and are raising 6 children to honor and glory of God! We are a single income family so my husband is working and providing for our family while also being a fantastic dad to our wonderful children and a wonderful husband to me. I am a full-time stay at home mom homeschooling our children and taking care of the house, we believe our children are our primary calling for this time, however we do also minister to other parents who have questions about parenthood and mentor young people in the lord, we actively serving in our church as a part of the family life team where we have amazing opportunities to share the love of Jesus to many people. ultimately we both feel called to the family mountain so that is what we lean toward in our ministry, helping families in need and mentoring young couples on how to have good healthy families. We are so thankful to the Lord Jesus for saving and delivering us for the world of darkness and translating us into His Kingdom!
