Phil Parr had a dream, and a desire to help those who could not accept their blindness. In the hopes of illustrating to men and women around the world that blindness was not the be all and end all of their existence. They did not have to sit in a home, twiddling their thumbs, giving others permission to accomplish tasks they could accomplish themselves.
