Join me and two ladies on our five mile hike to stay the night at the Len Foote Hike Inn at Amicalola Falls State Park! Being above my ideal BMI and not very active, I was apprehensive about striking out on a five mile hike but I'm so thankful to Michele and Tiffany for believing in me, inviting me and understanding when I needed to take a break. This was a trip of a lifetime and great memories and remained true to our goal of chasing 70 degree temperatures!
We would love to hear about your experience at the Len Foote Hike Inn and other places we need to hike! Drop us a comment or email!

When the family visits from Baton Rouge, we have to show them the highlights of North Georgia and North Carolina - we gathered in Hiawassee, GA on Lake Chatuge for New Year's and Thanksgiving - visited Helen, Goats on the Roof, Bell Mountain, Anna Ruby Falls, Clay's Corner for the 'Possum Drop to ring in the New Year - just what everyone from out of town needs to accidentally experience before it was stopped by PETA.

ATL --> SLC
After a long night and then meeting with the team at Maggie Sottero, we head out to have an adventure in Utah. We made the 40 minute drive from SLC to Park City...all so a girl could find a hat - thanks to TikTok lol. Then, back to SLC to change clothes and head to the Salt Flats - an absolute MUST see if you are remotely in the area.

FRIDAY
🚙 Drove to Page (4 hours or so)
🏜 Did Antelope Canyon - you have to get tickets for this because it’s part of the Navajo Nation and you must have a guide. I booked my tickets MONTHS ago. Takes about an hr and a half Antelope Canyon
🍽 At lunch in Page and then rested for 30 mins
🏞 Did Horseshoe Bend at sunset which I 110% recommend!!! The colors were insane
🛌 Stayed the night in Page
SATURDAY

🚙 Drove to Grand Canyon South Rim
⛰ Did Grand Canyon but honestly didn’t stay here very long…. If you’re just driving around the top and not hiking to the bottom it doesn’t look much different
🚙 Drove to Sedona
🥾 Hiked to Devil’s Bridge (which was a HIKE) we didn’t go all the way to the top but saw it from the bottom Devil's Bridge
🚙 Drove to Phoenix

Tate City, GA - between 2.5 hours and 3.5 hours from Atlanta, depending on your path. Located in Towns County, north of Tiger, east of Hiawassee and west of Dillard, Tate City is about as close to North Carolina as you can get and the Tate City Road will take you right into North Carolina. The 14 mile road runs along the Tallulah River with beautiful views along your way. Keep in mind, the road is mostly dirt, one way in & one way out and not a lot of space when you meet another car. Be on the look out for hikers and bears! The entire area is about 1.03 miles and 59 acres with a population around 32.
