Welcome back to another episode of the What Fills Your Cup Podcast! Everyone please welcome, James Noftall as this weeks guest. From Newfoundland, Canada, James shares his story of moving across the country for University- and all that transition entails. Growing up in a smaller town, moving to the city of Vancouver was na adjustment. On top of the move, navigating a new atmosphere, new friendships, and new rugby team is discussed throughout this episode. Within this episode James shares his struggles with depression, anxiety and ADHD. In his words "the big one" being ADHD, James highlights how his diagnosis has at times been difficult to navigate, however leaning on his family and friends is what has assisted in helping him remain positive. I am so thankful to James for opening up, being a strong advocate, and sharing his struggles with mental health. It takes a lot of courage to share those vulnerable parts of yourself, and I thank James for being so honest about some of his daily battles. This episode highlights the importance of community, finding a safe person you can be open with, navigating self- discovery and most importantly, sharing the kind hearted person James is. Thank you again James for coming on down to the studio, it means so much to me to be able to have these conversations reach individuals of all age ranges- and this episode is a friendly reminder to all University students that you re not alone in whatever it may be that you are going through!Don't forget to subscribe to the What Fills You Cup YouTube channel, follow on Spotify or Apple Music and share with your friends!
