This is an introduction to my podcast, telling you a little bit about me (Oneil Thompson), why I am doing this podcast and what to expect from the podcast.

Who am I?

Born in Kingston Jamaica, lived there for 20 odd years, came to the uk in 2008, to do a masters degree, when I finished my degree , stayed on in the uk, Worked and settled and lived ever since. Currently owned a small food business.

Anyone that knows me, that really knows me, would be surprised that I’m doing a podcast sharing my life experiences on a public platform. Solely due to the fact that I’m a reserve person. For example I have never done a live stream on social media.

So why do this? Well, firstly, it’s personal development for me, and this is a big deal for me, sometimes you have to do things outside your comfort zone and that will help you grow and develop. Secondly, most of my close friends and family members will tell you that I am insightful  and well informed on any topic that I choose to discuss.

So even though I’m reserved, You will always get well rounded information.

What to expect?

So Wha gwaan bro? If you don’t know, the term wha gwaan’ is a Jamaican term that translates what going on or what’s up.

So wha gwaan bro podcast will be a podcast that shares my views on current affairs, culture experiences, pretty much any topic of interest. There will be themed series as well. Also I will be having special guests sometimes to share their knowledge and experiences on certain topics as well.
