We Don't Know How to Love Him
EVITA, Part Two: Recap of the 1996 Film

It won't be easy, you'll think it strange...when we try to explain why this episode took sooooo long to edit. We recorded over THREE HOURS of commentary on Alan Parker's two-hour-20-minute film adaptation of EVITA, starring Anthony's first idol at three years old, Madonna. But don't cry for us, dear listeners, the truth is we never left you, and we've whittled this down to a (barely) reasonable hour and 48 minutes. Hear what we thought of the third and final full-length original show by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, featuring the songs "Don't Cry For Me, Argentina," "Buenos Aires," and "Another Suitcase In Another Hall."

EVITA, Part One: History

Hear about the show's creation, a story of passion, lies, and PR that seems to involve everyone from Ann-Margret to Liza with a Z. Plus, Adam and Anthony discuss the new productions of Sunset Boulevard and whether we're in for another case of intercontinental dueling Normas.

We Don't Know How to Love Him
JOSEPH, Part One: History

In their debut episode, Adam and Anthony go way, way back many decades ago to 1968, when Andrew Lloyd Webber wrote his first musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (with lyricist Tim Rice), which Anthony appeared in a few decades later, in the show's North American tour with Donny Osmond. They get so deep into the history that they decide to save their recap of the 1999 video for the next episode. They also cover some recent Lloyd Webber news, including the closing of The Phantom of the Opera and Bad Cinderella on Broadway, and talk about what Andrew Lloyd Webber songs are giving them life this week.
