This poem is posted on Instagram as a collab between me and a fellow writer.. let me know what you think about the poem..
What happens when a poet replies to corporate e-mails..
What would you do with the time you’ve got?
This one.. is a new personal favourite of mine.. cuz it has truly imbibed the mind of the writer.. all the ways we try to find words to portray our thoughts, yet so much is left unsaid for loss of the right words.. all the confusion and chaos that occurs in a poet’s mind.. the self doubt..
What if absence, grief, memories were not just feelings, but something tangible.. something no longer visible, but never quite gone..
How does it feel to be living with a mythical creature as mysterious as a mermaid??
All that happens in the family WhatsApp group
A dying jungle’s final farewell!!
The times when we can bring an awareness as poets.. the times when we can use the pen as a sword..
If only it was in our hands to control the weather, we’d make sure it is always sunny and warm..
Perhaps, we’re the flowers blooming in the garden of Eden..
This poem is the reflection of life.. the highs and the rock bottoms, the falling and rising of a soul like a phoenix..
My rendition of Faiz Ahmad Faiz’s “Mujhse pehli si muhabbat…”
I hope y’all like it.. 🥰🥰
Words and verses that birth in your mind and flee the very next moment, before they are noted down in the pages to stay.
