The dictionary defines ‘serendipity’ as “luck that takes the form of finding valuable or pleasant things that are not looked for.” Instead, the definition should be “a movie about two infuriating people making infuriating decisions culminating in the most infuriating romance.” Starring Kate Beckinsale in her pre-prime and John Cusack in his post-prime, Serendipity is weirdly your mom’s favourite romantic comedy.
