Not everyone that sees can really see! In today’s text we will see two miracles with two blind men that could see but not hear, a man that couldn’t speak or see, and a group that couldn’t see, hear, or speak! Can you see who Jesus is in your live and what he has done? Have you taken time to be in awe of Jesus and His work? We hope this last sermon in the series “Move” helps you know who Jesus is, and helps you understand what it means to know Him as your Lord and Savior by faith.
No todos que pueden ver, realmente pueden ver. En los milagros del texto de hoy, vemos dos hombres ciegos, un hombre mudo, y un grupo que ni pudo ver ni oír a Jesús. ¿Puedes ver quien es Jesús hoy en tu vida? Has tomado tiempo para maravillar sobre la obra de Dios? Espero que este último mensaje en esta seria te ayude en conocer a Jesús como tu Salvador por fe.
Time is a funny thing. It can go by quickly or it can feel like it moves very slowly, depending on the circumstances. In today’s text, pastor Alexander shows us two miracles, both with an element of time, and how Jesus works at the perfect time in both through the faith of others. Remember that “All of our needs are met at the feet of Jesus!”
We all have traditions both in our families and in our religious background. There are many great things about them, including the emotions and memories attached to them. But we see in the text today that Jesus wants us to make sure we know that "righteousness cannot be attained by ritual." We will see how Jesus answers the questions of the followers of John the Baptist, and how it applies to us as we seek to follow Jesus today.
There are many religions in the world, but there is something much better than religion for us! It is a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. In the text today, we see a man that was rejected by religion, but accepted by Jesus. What changed in his life?, What are some of the signs of the same changes in your life when you know Jesus compared to the things that religion produces in a life?
We see that knowing Jesus produces a committed life, willing to leave everything to follow Jesus. We cannot have a “Sunday only Jesus.”
We see that knowing Jesus also produces a criticized life, both of Jesus and of His followers. When we spend time with sinners, the religious will not understand why.
Remember that Jesus receives the sinner, but rejects the self-righteous. They don’t need him, but those that know who they were, know what HE has done in their life, and know who they are now, realize how great His love is for us and for others. Which do you have today, religion or relationship?
Hay muchas religiones en el mundo, pero hay algo mejor que la religión. Es una relación personal con Dios a través de Jesús. En el texto de hoy, vemos un hombre que fue rechazado por los religiosos, pero aceptado y llamado por Jesús. ¿Que cambió en su vida? ¿Cuales son las señales del mismo cambio en tu vida, comparado a lo que produce la religión en tu vida?
There are many miracles in the Bible, but one is greater than them all- when God firgives sins. We see today in our text that Jesus has power over sin, and there is power in faith in Him. We see that Jesus uses faith to
1 Work in the Heart of Others
2 Work in the Heart of the Doubters
3 Work in the Heart of Sinners
There is no sin that Jesus cannot forgive, and will not forgive if we come to Him by faith seeking to be healed. Don’t let the doubt in your heart and mind prevent the miraculous work of Jesus in your life, so you can give God the glory. In our weakness, Jesus is able to work!
Jesus Has Power even over Demons
do, that’s another story!)? In today’s text, Pastor Alexander is going to show us three different examples of how faith and fear just don’t go together. Two are men who wanted to follow Jesus but had fears, and the other is the disciples that did follow Jesus, but still were afraid! We see:
1 Fear over Comfort (or losing comfort)
2- Fear over Commitments
3- Fear over Circumstances
What we learn is that even when we have faith, our faith can always be tested and grown. Whether you have followed Jesus for many years, or are just beginning your walk, you can always grow in your faith. Don’t let fear control your ability to follow Jesus anywhere!

Pensamiento: La fe ahuyenta el miedo, o el miedo ahuyentará la fe.”
¿Cuales remordimientos tienes en tu vida? Todos nosotros tenemos cosas que queremos cambiar en nuestra vida, y muchas de estas cosas son conectados con un tema: el miedo. Tenemos que vivir sabiend que si fuera posible lo haría diferente.
Hoy en el texto vemos tres ejemplos del miedo entre los discipulos (y los que querían ser discipulos) de Jesús, y vemos que su miedo fue más evidente que su fe. Todos nosotros podemos aprender algo de ellos, sea seguidores de Jesús por muchos años o solamente por algunos días. En el texto vemos:
1 Miedo de la Comodidad
2 Miedo de los Compromisos
3 Miedo de las Circunstiancias
Cualquier de estas areas pueden probar y mejorar nuestra fe. Siempre podemos crecer.
