The sequel to Paul W.S. Anderson's 2002 Resident Evil movie is based loosely on the 3rd videogame in the franchise and sees Alice (Milla Jovovich) team up with Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory) to try and save a young girl from the clutches of the Umbrella Corporation as Raccoon City falls to the zombie outbreak. Things are further complicated however by a relentless pursuer out to stop them at any cost; the Nemesis.

This 80s sex comedy features a group of Pac-Man addicts, some hapless nerds who just want to play their games in peace and, of course, parents gripped by a "think about the children" panic. As we continue through 2025 we're releasing more of our back catalogue from before VGMP came onto the Impala network. Today we're talking about this 1990s film from the master of body-horror David Cronenberg. Starring Jude Law and Jennifer Jason Leigh along with appearances from Christopher Ecclestone, Willem Dafoe and Callum Keith-Rennie, this film revolves around a "biological" videogame console that is played by being plugged directly into the spine of the user. As you can probably imagine, things don't go smoothly.

January is well known as somewhat of a graveyard month when it comes to movie releases and in keeping with that tradition we're re-releasing our episode on Gamebox 1.0, one of the worst movies we have ever reviewed on the show. Nate Richert (Sabrina The Teenage Witch) stars as a videogame tester with a troubled past who is enlisted to test a brand new gaming console that can tap into the actual memories of the player.
