Bloodsucking Fiends: A Love Story by Christopher Moore
In tonight’s Vampire Book Club Episode, we’re going to discuss the humorous vampire novel Bloodsucking Fiends by Christopher Moore. Tori loved this book in the 90s and is excited, Chael had never read it before. We discuss what we loved and what we didn’t and go through most of the plot. The Vampire Chronicles come up a lot as well as this was the basis of a lot of inspiration for the vampire lore.

The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires
In tonight’s Vampire Book Club Episode, we’re going to discuss the novel The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix. Despite the misleading title, we enjoyed it as a horror novel. We debate whether the big bad counts as a vampire, talk about what worked for us in the story, and what did not.

As you've probably noticed, we have not had a new episode in a bit. Life has gotten busy and we decided to make it official and take an official summer hiatus. You know how it is. Summer isn't a great time for vampires, the nights are just too short! We'll back in a couple months with all new episodes and we appreciate your patience. In the meantime, we're excited to work on some great vampiric content for our return!
We'll be back soon!
Tonight, we discuss the 1992 movie Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which would go on to inspire the TV series.

Tori had a few audio issues and had to re-record a few bits, which is why there’s some audio weirdness in a few places.
"Sufficiently creepy" is a thing Anderson says that we totally failed to mention in the episode. I guess this is our version of an easter egg. ;)
It’s the penultimate episode of AMC’s Interview with the Vampire Season 1. They’re back to vampire camp but still can’t seem to decide what tone they’re going for. Chael and Tori break down Episode 6: “Like Angels Put in Hell By God” and discuss a few theories as we head into the season finale.

Just a note: while editing this episode, I realized I complained a lot about "the editing" in episode 2. I was mostly talking about story/script editing, not the actual video editing, although I do wonder if the first scene is some kind of holdover from something that was cut.
Greetings, fellow vampire fans. Today, Chael and Tori, two fans of The Vampire Chronicles books, discuss their thoughts and feelings on the pilot episode of AMC’s new Interview with the Vampire show. Quick Correction: We call the showrunner "Rolin James" a few times. His name is "Rolin Jones." Tori's bad! She knew his name, she just kept saying it wrong.
