Welcome to Uprooted, a space for the ignored and disenfranchised to feel seen and reroot themselves. My name is Hanna Rutha and I created Uprooted because I don't always feel seen in the places I occupy. As an ethnic Tigrayan living in the US, the immigrant label was the one that shaped my life the most. I lived in two worlds all the time and it was completely jarring. Uprooted peels back the real layers of what it means to be removed from the home you were supposed to be born to and find a way to replant yourselves. We're here to support one another as we "find our way back home".

'The Rhythm of Your Clock' - #ManifestMondays

Happy #ManifestMonday y’all. Today’s topic of time management is probably top 3 skills to ‘Create Your Joy’ and everyone’s frenemy 🤣

What we all know is that time is not in our control and as such is one of the most valuable things. That can feel very daunting to us humans with this incessant desire to be in control. The only thing we can ever truly control is OURSELVES. So the option here is to learn to manage our time. Master your day and the rest will become clear.

Here are my tips on this:

1.) Track yourself for 7 days breaking down every minute of the 24hrs.

2.) Look for patterns or areas where your time and energy are sucked.

3.) Reset your daily agenda/routines accordingly.

4.) Remember to give yourself flexible time for life to happen.

*Bonus: track your mood and energy level to set up new boundaries for yourself.
