We spend the first years of our lives constantly learning, whether we're at school or at home. As we get older, it is just as important to unlearn — to truly discover and listen to your own individual voice that breaks free from what your parents have taught you, what school has taught you and what society expects from you. This is Erika and Roxi and we invite you to join in on our conversations as we talk about unlearning from the context of an Asian upbringing. Please rate and review if you enjoy it. Tell us what you've unlearned today.

5 ways I built my confidence over the years

In this episode, Erika talks about how she felt confident across the years and how this feeling of confidence has changed.

Confidence comes in many forms; from accepting your body to seeing where you fit in with your peers. Most importantly, confidence comes over time and Erika talks about how, while there’s been so much growth, she still isn’t at 100% (but she’s getting there).

How do you work on your confidence? Has it changed in any way since you were a kid? Let us know @UnlearningWithUs on IG!
