I'm a self-confessed perfectionist trying to change from being a compulsive starter into a finisher in my creative projects, be they for personal hobbies or in a professional setting. After completing the 100 Day Project in 2020, I thought I'd go that bit further and share my learnings from conversations with friends from various creative backgrounds so that others can hopefully learn from them too.

Episode 9 - Vince Byron: Don't give power to resistance by thinking about trying to reach your goal. Instead fill your mind as if you've already done it, as the second time is always easier.

Vince Byron is a Professional BMX Athlete from Brisbane, Australia. Since 2011 Vince has been collecting medals at the X Games, Dew Tour and other Mega Ramp events, with currently 16 Golds and over 20 more podium finishes. Vince’s background in gymnastics has laid down a solid foundation of breaking down tricks into sub-skills in order to achieve the overall goal. From pioneering new tricks on the Vert and Mega Ramp, to being the first person to successfully ride a BMX bike down a snow super pipe, Vince knows the power of thought and its potential.
