Is Christ re-crucified at every Catholic Mass?
This is a common question and a misconception I had myself. In this video, I break down what the Catholic Church REALLY teaches the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is, and whether Christ is sacrificed again and again or if it was truly "once for all".
I read from the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Scripture and Joe Heschmeyer's book "The Eucharist is Really Jesus" to answer questions like:
What does the Church mean by "the sacrifice of the Mass"?
Is Christ's sacrifice being repeated or re-presented?
Why do Catholics call it "the sacrifice of the Mass" if Hebrews 10:10 is clear that the Christ's sacrifice was once for all?
Whether you're Catholic, Protestant or just curious, this episode will give you a clear answer from the Catechism and Scripture on one of the most commonly misunderstood aspects of Catholic worship.

This week I talk about the Church fathers and wether or not they would be Protestant today. It's not uncommon to hear some Protestants claim that some of the Church fathers like St. Augustine, St. Jerome and St. Clement of Rome believed in some Protestant doctrines such as faith alone and scripture alone. The month of November is for remembering your death and the death of those who have come before us. This may sound morbid, sad or like something we shouldn't talk or think about but as Catholics we should NOT shy away from keeping it top of mind for a few reasons. I discuss why we should remember our death and why it's important to remember those who have gone on before us and the ways we can do that.

As with all of the Marian Dogmas, these truths say more about Christ than about Mary herself. Mary IS the Mother of God and to deny this is to deny a reality of who Christ is.
