Two Cents Podcast: Episode 3 - Here are 5 Ways to Manage Your Mental Health As An Entrepreneur

Mental illness is a problem for business owners. Here are 5 things you can do as a business owner to keep your mental health in good shape. 1. Take time for yourself.

As a business owner, it's easy to get busy with work and forget about your own needs. But it's important to give yourself time every day, even if it's just a few minutes. Take some time away from work to do things you enjoy, like reading, working out, or spending time with friends and family.

2. Ask for help from a professional. It's not a sign of weakness to need help. It's a good thing!

If you're having trouble with your mental health, don't be afraid to talk to an expert. No one should feel bad about going to a doctor or counsellor for help. You can take care of your mental health with help from therapy. I've been going to therapy for years. It helps to talk about your life with someone who isn't part of your everyday life.

Related: How leaders get mental health wrong

3. Join a support group. You don't have to go through this alone.

There are many offline and online support groups for businesses. These groups are a great way to meet other business owners who know what you're going through. Support groups can be a great way to meet new people, get help, and feel better.

4. Take breaks. The need to always be "on" can lead to mental health problems tied to running your own business.

If you're too busy at work, take a break. Step away from your computer and go for a walk or take a few days off to relax and recharge. Taking breaks when you need them is important. If not, you might get tired of it.

5. Make sure your body and mind are getting the fuel they need. The wrong food can be the last stick that breaks the camel's back.

As a business owner, you are always under pressure to do well, meet goals, and get things done. And if you don't pay attention, it can hurt your mental health.

Because of this, it's important to make sure you take care of your body and mind. To keep your mind healthy, you need to eat well, get enough sleep and exercise, and learn to deal with worry.

You can get great short-term and long-term results from taking a supplement to improve your mental and cognitive skills while taking care of your physical health.

By using these tips, you can improve your mental health and lower stress. Remember that you are not alone in your problems and that you can get help if you need it.

Two Cents Podcast By Ahmed Mansour
Two Cents Podcast: Episode 2 - Starting a Business: Don't Overlook These Essential Steps!

Legal and Regulatory Compliance: When starting a firm, entrepreneurs frequently forget about the obligations they have under the law and regulations. These obligations include registering the business with the relevant authorities, acquiring the necessary permissions and licences, and adhering to tax regulations. Failure to comply with these standards may result in penalties, legal issues, or even the closure of the company.

Market Research: To comprehend your target market, recognise your competition, and assess the viability of your business idea, conducting thorough market research is essential. Many business owners neglect to do this or simply do superficial research, which can result in a lack of understanding of the industry and its demands and a disastrous venture.

Financial Planning: Entrepreneurs frequently undervalue the value of financial planning, which entails creating a budget, projecting income and spending, and locating prospective sources of money. Financial irresponsibility can lead to cash flow issues, debt, and even bankruptcy.

Branding and marketing: Establishing a powerful brand and creating winning marketing plans are crucial for drawing in new clients and keeping existing ones. However, many business owners disregard these facets of their operations, which has a negative impact on sales and brand recognition.

Hiring and human resources: Having the right personnel in place to support a company's success is crucial as it expands. But business owners frequently forget how crucial it is to build a healthy workplace culture, implement successful training programmes, and hire the right people. Neglecting these facets of the business can result in high employee turnover, low productivity, and a toxic workplace environment.

Networking and Relationships: The development of a network of contacts and alliances can be essential to the success of a new company. This entails developing connections with partners, suppliers, and companies in your sector. Many business owners neglect this area of their operations, which can lead to lost opportunities and a dearth of assistance.

Scalability and Growth: It's crucial to take into account a new company's potential for growth and scaling when launching it. Many business owners neglect to make long-term growth and expansion plans in favour of narrowly focusing on short-term objectives. Missed possibilities and an inability to take advantage of potential future business opportunities may result from this.

Technology and Infrastructure: A new business's ability to succeed in the digital era depends on having the appropriate technology and infrastructure in place. Entrepreneurs frequently ignore these elements of their company, which can lead to sluggish or out-of-date systems, security problems, and decreased productivity.

Entrepreneurs can increase their chances of success and stay clear of typical traps by taking the time to think about and handle these sometimes disregarded components of beginning a new firm.

Two Cents Podcast: Episode 1 - Founder of I-Events, Amr Mansi

It's been quite some time since we decided that we're going to be launching our own podcast show about the entrepreneurship scene in the Middle East. But ever since we did, we wanted to start big ... We always said "GO BIG OR GO HOME" but now, and finally, we landed the jackpot by interviewing the iconic Entrepreneur and Founder of I-Events Amr Mansi on our newest podcast show "Two Cents".

In case you've been living under a rock and have no clue who Amr Mansi is, here's a brief bio about the star entrepreneur:    As Egypt Today magazine likes to call him "A Man of Many Hats", I really couldn't agree more! He's the guy that owns one of the leading events management agencies in Egypt, if not the Middle East, @ievents_eg. He's behind two of the biggest Squash Tournaments the world has ever seen, @elgounaredsea Squash Tournament and Squash at the Pyramids, and last but not least ... He's one of the people behind the phenomenal @elgounafilmfestivalofficial that we all look forward to every year!

It's really hard to put down Amr's career in a few words that could fit into a brief article, however, and without further ado, let's let Mansi talk for himself!

V-licious: The Yummy Egyptian Finger Food Brand That has Plenty of Veggies for Your Kids!

If all the mommies of the world gathered around and spoke about their biggest daily struggle, hands down, it would be food time! Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner time, the pressure is real! From choosing food that all the family members enjoy, to adding the daily nutrients your kids need at the same time. So to end this struggle, and for every mom's sake, we found this particular brand that is tailored for kids who refuse to eat vegetables, AKA all kids!

V-licious is an Egyptian food brand created by Madonna Saied and her husband two years ago. V-licious is the first finger food brand that contains hidden veggies specialized for kids in the MENA region.

Like so many mommies, Madonna had a daily struggle with her kids to eat fresh green veggies, so she decided to create some yummy finger food that has both the taste and the nutrients at the same time.

Madonna focuses on the healthy nutrients by inducing 7 hidden veggies that most of the kids refuse to eat in their products. These 7 hidden veggies include Zucchini, Brocolli, Spinach, Molokheya, Carrots, Bell Pepper, and Leafy greens. V-licious comes in two lines: Savory, which includes chicken nuggets, burger, kofta, meatballs, and a bakery line that has biscuits, brownies, muffins, and more.

The packaging is very smart and each type has a designated cartoonish character that encourages kids to shop the brand with their moms, and most importantly, V-licious is free of sugar, preservatives, white flour, and soya.

Well, if you are still wondering what you'll cook for today's lunch, here is the link to order from, and the prices are very reasonable compared to other takeaway food! It's also available in Seoudi, Flamingo, Royal House, Dreams Market (inside Heliopolis club), El Market, and Greenolic.
