Welcome to TWINHOOD… the ultimate twin podcast you didn’t know you needed.
Hosted by chart-topping singer-songwriter MAISIE PETERS, and her corporate queen, brutally honest, should’ve-been-the-real-star non identical twin ELLEN PETERS. Born 15 minutes apart (with Ellen proudly holding the “older twin” title), this podcast celebrates the chaos, charm, and contradictions of twin life — but not in the way you’d expect.
Think of them as your unofficial sisters. Living together in their beloved flat (affectionately known as ‘Flattie‘), Maisie and Ellen welcome you into their wonderfully chaotic world - serving up sisterly advice, unfiltered opinions, and the occasional pearl of wisdom. With weekly listener dilemmas and segments like ‘Twinning or Binning’ and ‘Something of the Week’, Twinhood is your go-to guide for navigating adulthood — one laugh, debate, and sisterly squabble at a time.
At the heart of TWINHOOD is something more than twin banter and cheeky gossip — it’s about real connection.
Each week, Maisie and Ellen open up their inbox to listener-submitted dilemmas, offering honest, thoughtful advice with the kind of sisterly warmth (and bluntness) only they can deliver.
Whether it’s a crisis at work, a friendship fallout, or a love life spiral, the Peters sisters approach every problem with honesty, empathy, and the kind of sisterly perspective that makes you feel truly seen. They don’t claim to have all the answers, but they’ll walk through the mess with you — talking it through with empathy, humour, and a whole lot of heart.
Launching on the day they were born, Twinhood is the latest thing Maisie and Ellen have decided to share — after a birthday, a flat, and a lifetime of chaos.
Two sisters, one flat and zero filters.

Winter is coming… and so is Maisie’s Game of Thrones era. We chat all things Maisie’s doppelgänger - @maisiewilliams, we spiral into talk of MAFS, Ellen’s new discovery of water flossers, and the horrifying realisation that we have to exercise and floss for the rest of our lives. We’re having a large Toblerone just to cope with the thought, in the name of balance of course.
We check in on our twenties — the confidence crisis of being 25, the sliding scale of brat, and what it really means to chase your bliss.
There’s a spooky pie, a philosophical detour, and the controversial claim that eating Brussels sprouts might just earn you a number one single.

In this week’s episode, Ellen’s riding high on her newfound mastery of colour theory, while Maisie’s still recovering from the great Où Est le Poulet game, & no - it’s not a small plates restaurant.
Before the Bloom show and a New York minute later, we catch up on our latest shenanigans - including Ellen’s smear test story (sorry producer Paul!), planning a Just Dance night complete with picky bits, PT sessions and we decide that our fitness goal is… just to have a good time together.
Plus, we get into stolen jewellery at the Louvre connection with Ellen’s love for engagement rings, and a shiver runs through Maisie as we react to your comments from Ellen’s insta story rampage. Somewhere in between all that, a mysterious new word - Bograttoad - is born. Enjoy! Xx

This week we come to you with the most request episode of all… we’re marking your essays! When Maisie first released Audrey Hepburn / You You You - we set YOU our beloved cousins the task of completing a 12 marker, and boy did you deliver. Between grading lyrical theories and (still) teaching ellen what an ego death is, we discover new meanings in Maisie’s words while slipping into classic Peters chaos: rants about bad curly-hair days, flashbacks to GCSE trauma, and Ellen’s childhood obsession with fake glasses purely for the aesthetic. Just another day in the flattie for us. scented (naturally) like a forest and sprinkled with tangents, tea, and twin telepathy x x

Live from Flattie and slightly hungover on an attention comedown, we’re debriefing the absolute whirlwind that was Maisie’s two headline London shows - the first in 2 years! It’s been a huge couple of days for Maisie… but somehow an even bigger couple of days for Ellen.
Join us as we unpack it all: from barefoot stage moments (yes, the dogs were out) to Ellen turning every conversation back to Olly Murs, interviewing fans in the queue, and Maisie giving Ellen access to the Twinhood socials…
We play out your lovely messages live from the queue to Maisie, and she also has a surprise for Ellen!
Stay for the ending of the pod, as it turns slightly chaotic with a change of lighting (You Tube viewers will see it in all its glory!) and Ellen’s uber is waiting outside… enjoy!

We’re wanting to keep you fed, so this episode was recorded a couple of days before Maisie released her single(s!!!) and played her London shows!
It’s now officially autumn and this week marks our 20th episode, so we play 20 questions submitted by you!!
It’s been a New York minute since we caught up, & we talk about our millennial queen Ellen calling maisie in the middle of the night to find out how to take music of an insta post (plot twist, you can’t), maisie’s flight shenanigans to Singapore and how it’s going to be a legging winter for the girls. Twinhood LLC thought Ellen got engaged in New York (another plot twist, she didn’t) and we’ve given Producer Paul the mic this week - it’s giving the wizard and I. Enjoy the ep and remember cousins, love is huge xx

This weeks episode of Twinhood is a soft, sleepy safe space. The kind of pre recorded, slightly unhinged catch up only we could do in the midst of extreme work mania; so this week Maisie’s in her cardigan and Ellen is cradling her support Owala cup. We settle in for a late night yap… with the small chance that Ellen may have nearly given Team Twinhood food poisoning!!!
We talk about all things Maisie’s new single ‘Audrey Hepburn’ (out tomorrow!), as well as her upcoming London and New York shows. TV talk gets heated: Ellen’s favourites have ended and Maisie’s still trying to drag her into The Walking Dead dark side. We also chat about flight TV screens, soup counts (Maisie had four this week), and the duality of woman - tired, chaotic & somehow still functioning.
We answer your questions including music and London food recs – and spiral into everything from how Ellen wouldn’t have survived as a Victorian child, to naming a cousin’s unborn baby, to Gothenburg stories. The pod takes a turn when Ellen goes down memory lane & discusses the Olly Murs X factor era of twin arguments - a rogue but important subject.
We’re abracadabraing it up this episode, our cat is dead & we are not okay… but we love you!

ellen’s back singing with a first exclusive rendition of ‘audrey hepburn’ (ellen’s version)… & it’s officially autumn, which means maisie is in her natural habitat, glasses on and ready to actually see for mp3!!
we get into your hilarious comments that genuinely brought a smile to our faces and also reveal the hidden easter egg in the twinhood background from the past few episodes!
there’s a surprise show announcement, ellen learns what an ego death is and things take a turn when we decide to turn the pod into an asmr episode. homework is back for the cousins with a 12 marker essay being set and it’s only just the beginning…

It’s all going on in Twinhood this week, as Ellen’s hits 15k followers!!!! While her boyfriend didn’t think cake and balloons were necessary - here at Twinhood HQ, we respectfully disagree, and celebrated the occasion by nearly setting flattie on fire.
We’re back with wisdom and chaos: the exact number of pints it takes to feel truly alive, dream podcast sponsors (TUI Blue Maldives, call us), and Maisie’s public shaming as the cousins demand she organises Ellen a Blank Street coffee.
Cousins - you have been assigned very important homework, listen to find out & we scroll through the inbox to answer your dilemmas, debate which Sex and the City character we’re most like, and remind you all—hair is everthing (if you know you know).
All of this, recorded mid–tube strike chaos, complete with Ellen’s thoughts on Lime Bike survival tactics (aka Hunger Games on wheels), Maisie’s slight accident on a lime bike and we dream of future Twinhood meet up lime bike events..!!!

This week, we’re talking all things self care and the weekend where we ‘rotted’. We reflect on our deep and undying love for the cinema after a trip to see The Roses, dive into the recent VMAs and yes, Ellen is back singing. We also talk self-care, from the ultimate rot day routine (Maisie binging the iron man series) to the mystery of Ellen’s missing parcel and the shocking revelation that her boyfriend owns a pencil case.
We also read out our favourite unhinged comments from you all, talk QT sightings, and remember Ellen’s Christmas wish for a fruit hat that never came true.

We’re back for another episode and this week, Maisie earns sister points when Ellen hears her track played in My Life With The Walter Boys & we have video evidence of her reaction to The Summer I Turned Pretty episode from last week. We talk Belly being in Paris, 11-year-olds making the most elite edits, and dive into some deep Maisie ‘Worst of You’ lore. Ellen’s back from a Belfast festival, where yoga and cat-cow poses somehow made their way into the rave scene, and we share our very real September wins (because if the characters of Sesame Street made it, so did we). There's some hair drama too—bad comments, T-shirt regrets, and why the hair journey actually matters more than you'd think. We compare our Freaky Friday-esque lives: touring versus corporate chaos. Plus, we reveal Maisie’s go-to bus meal recipe, Ellen’s tray bakes make a return, and we recount a horrific beef brisket moment that ended in a blender.Just another normal week in the twinhood flattie!

This week’s episode is all about dating, and it’s a fun one! Ellen is down bad with the flu but still somehow pulls through with a cooking update (homemade seaweed included of course) and a fresh Summer I Turned Pretty recap. We’re recording on the eve of Taylor Swift’s engagement, so of course we spiral into chatting about love, timing, and everything in between.
The queen herself, Ellen’s boyfriend’s mum, makes a triumphant return with another legendary voice note, reminding us once again that hair really is everything (lol).
We dive into our own dating and breakup stories: past relationships, the struggle of letting go, and how it feels to watch each other navigate love as twins. We unpack ghosting, the three loves theory, those unforgettable “party for you” moments, and debate should you ever keep following your ex on socials?
We close out the episode with breakup playlists (yes, including Glee bangers) and one final reminder: in the middle of all the drama, you are the magic. Never forget it, cousins!

In this week's episode, Ellen has already forgotten what the title of mp3 is, Maisie cries at a book and yes, the QTs are still going — even if no one asked.
We drag some unseen gym content of Maisie out of the vault (spoiler: Ellen is full Mean Girls mum energy), chat about Maisie’s Ed Sheran 22nd birthday party and Ellen reveals all (literally) and tells her notorious Trevi fountain tale. We also go through our inbox and huge news - the full theme tune is back by popular demand… purr!

This week on Twinhood, we’re quite literally book’ed and busy - as we dedicate an episode on one of our favourite hobbies… reading!!
The kindles are charged, Goodreads is open, and we’re diving deep: from book nostalgia (Twilight or Hunger Games, anyone?) to our current reads and those we DNF’d with no shame. Ellen’s officially BookTok royalty, Maisie’s been a bookworm since birth, and between them it’s the perfect epitome of twinhood. Maisie reveals which books she bought Dr Taylor Swift when she met her at the eras tour (1 year ago!!) and we find out why Ellen can’t cry at books.
Also featuring a surprise reference read out for Ellen written by Maisie’s beloved tour manager (watch / listen our last episode for the lore!!).

This week, we’re throwing it back to school days and our very first jobs!
Naturally, we chat about Ellen’s ever-evolving hair journey (she’s fully channeling Carrie Bradshaw now), and Maisie survives one of Ellen’s famously awkward hugs. We share some of our fave Spotify comments from the cousins, relive Maisie’s wild night out on tour, and reveal how Ellen may or may not have tweaked her CV to land a spot on the Maisie Peters tour crew…
Plus, a very important PSA from Ellen about The Summer I Turned Pretty.
PS – Massive good luck to all our cousins getting A-Level and GCSE results! We’re rooting for you! X x

We’re double digits baby!!! Episode 10 is here and it’s giving chaos, lime biking and big mp3 energy.
This week Maisie hosted a friends and family mp3 listening party…there were reactions, there were questions, there was bed-sheet acoustics — and Ellen is telling all (or nothing… you decide).
It’s also a huge week in the flattie as Maisie takes her first ever Lime bike ride (and lives to tell the tale), while Ellen continues her journey into natural hair greatness — with some unexpected inspo from How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.
We discuss why hair is important (mantra!), discover Ellen’s natural key (yes, she’s back singing again), and we answer your burning Spotify questions.

Another week another episode for you - our cousins…!!! Ellen is back with her face beat and hair curled, Maisie is under the weather and we yap all things The Summer I Turned Pretty (spoilers included). We’re brave girls and try new trendy girl London exercise classes (that have ruined our insides) and the GOAT of boyfriends Mum’s makes a voice note appearance...
The comments — or as our corporate queen says , feedback — have been flying in, and we’re back catching up on the email inbox answering your dilemmas. There’s also talk of first kisses, hauling a suitcase to a date, and of course, some one liners that are a little too raucous for public consumption.
We’ve also set up a Twinhood goodreads group, so come and give us a follow and some books recs here: https://shorturl.at/8qV3b

This week, we’re handing the mics over to you — our beloved Twinhoodites / cousins…?! We’re still deciding what to name you, poll incoming!! You voted, you questioned, you even chose the game (justice for Twinning or Binning!!).
We chat all things Ipswich… where Maisie supported her good friend Ed Sheeran (or better known as Ed Sheran) at his hometown show. Of course, Ellen came along to watch - not without a dramatic journey of course and befriending James Blunt’s uncle…
As always, this episode includes deep lore, French TV stories, THAT Coldplay saga, womens football (go the lionesses!) and thoughts on starting a Twinhood football team.
Send your love, your thoughts, and your choice for what we should call you.

We’re deep in our hot girl summer era this week and whether you're thriving, barely surviving, or just here for the Kindle recs — welcome to the most unhinged summer episode yet.
Expect chafing chat, why we’re gaming like it’s 2008, Maisie’s traumatic changing room moment and Ellen’s love for lime bikes. It’s a random turn of events in this episode, but would you expect anything less?!
We also open up about Maisie starting her therapy, how Ellen has been coping with her ADHD, PLUS, we’re answering your hot girl summer questions sent in via Instagram - nothing is off limits.

It’s been very much twin where have you been this week — we’re fresh (ish) back from holiday, one of us more sun-kissed than the other (you can probably guess), sunglasses still on head and a couple of nails down.
It’s the first time we’ve properly caught up since Twinhood launched, so we’re debriefing: the launch, the love, the hate comments.
Maisie revisits her driving test trauma, Ellen attempts to explain what a Labubu is, and there’s a spontaneous live performance about a house rabbit. We cover East London walks, Sue from Outnumbered, birthday reflections, and some listener dilemmas — including one from an anonymous sender who simply calls themselves “the locksmith.

This week, there’s more chaos in the twinhood flattie - we may have no hot water, but we do have lots more gossip, yapping and of course, answer your dilemmas. We talk about the power of an 'iboof', why Ellen was accidentally named a chef in Maisie’s Sunday Times article as well as bringing back our fav - twinning or binning! We discuss the let them theory (in completely the wrong context) and Ellen shares some wise words that deserve to be on a live, laugh, love sign.
