Safe to say, we were both left rather disenchanted after watching this pilot. As life-long Simpsons and Futurama fans, the hype going into this series was immense, for Dando in particular, which is what made this all the more disappointing. As Dando puts it, "every character is either an idiot, cruel or unhappy".

Granted, the show most likely improves going forward, however as an introductory pilot episode, this didn't exactly leave us wanting more. What are your thoughts on the "Disenchantment" pilot?

This week we visited Sunnydale High School and checked out the pilot episode of Josh Whedon's smash-hit series 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer', titled "Welcome to the Hellmouth".

Despite this originally airing as a two-parter, we only review the first episode, which ended on a classic "to be continued". WHAT A HOOK!

We also dive into the original Buffy film from 1992, the casting choices of Buffy's friends Xander and Willow, the music (including an amazing theme song from Nerf Herder), the vampire make-up design, the pros/cons of the dialogue and more.
