Origin stories take centre stage in this weeks episode of TV, it’s all we’ve got! Dad asked me to watch Disney’s latest addition to the Star Wars universe; Obi-Wan Kenobi. I can guarantee that it brought back some memories as I have only ever watched Star Wars with dad. We both watched The Kings Man, as I was visiting dad in Melbourne. It started off slow, so tune in to hear our final thoughts. We also talk about Top Gun: Maverick, apparently dad is a huge Tom Cruise fan!

Dad and I didn’t realise that we gave each other shows with numerals in their titles for this weeks show. ‘Girls 5 Eva’ is a show about a girl group who unite to revive their career and ‘Ten Percent’ is about a talent agency that is hoping to stay open. This week I gave dad a real tear jerker when I asked him to watch ‘As we see it’; a show on Amazon Prime which shows you the lives of three friends living on the Spectrum. Dad went easy on me this week and asked me to watch a show that I have already watched. Admittedly I loved it so much the first time around I watched it again. ‘Bridgerton’, is one of Netflix’s highest streaming series and season 2 is out soon! I asked dad to watch a documentary about Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz now streaming on Amazon Prime called ‘Lucy and Desi’. This documentary was directed by Amy Poelher, so was a must see from me- but did dad feel the same?

This week dad asked me to watch a show based on one of his favourites ‘Star Trek’- Picard now streaming on Amazon Prime. It was nice to escape reality for a while in this sci fi series. It’s safe to say we had a great week watching tv!

This week dad set me a mission to watch ‘Young Wallander’ on Netflix; the prologue to ‘Wallander’ a show that dad watched some time ago… if you are in to crime solving mysteries then this show is for you!
