If you think about it,  everyone has a female pair.   There will always be females are insecure as you are.  But the problem is you're both so insecure you will never meet each other.  And if you did you probably wouldn't like each other that much.  We tend to want the highest value things we can get.  But what makes us think in order to attain the highest value you are not suppose to put in the highest work.  There is always the exception to the rule but we got more chances of getting struck by a lightning than being the exception.  Work with the knowledge and understanding you have right now in order to have the most solid dating life possible.  Put in the self work and yes recognize you're always capable of attracting someone each step of the way.  But the flood gates open up much higher if you put in the self work.  That just depends on what you want also and what truly makes you happy.  Self awareness and meditation will be your friend in that.  And also an understanding of human beings.  Why we do what we do and what is it we truly want.  Men's purpose in life is not to be happy.  Men's purpose in life is to find meaning.  According to jordan peterson.  A beautiful phrase.
