The trusting God podcast is for us to encourage us in our walk with God.
I haven't created an episode for quite a while but I have recently felt like I should record another episode. So this episode is an update of where I am and my trusting God journey.
I have been unemployed since December 2023 and this has been tough. Apart from applying for hundreds of job I have also tried to start my own companies. I have also worked in the bakery for a major retailer which was quite an experience.
I still haven't found employment but am still trusting God that he has everything under control.

Is a community focused on trusting God necessary? Why have I taken the time to create one and will anyone else actually join?
For me I have been going through a year long process of finding employment. It sometimes feels like I will never earn money again and unfortunately money is a vital part of life. For me this is a trust and faith exercise as I need to trust that God will look after me and my family and have faith that I will eventually discover a way to provide for my family.
So again why a community focused on trusting God? While I have looking for a job I have realised how important trusting God is. Trusting God though is tough and I thought it would be great to be part of an online community where I could share what I was going through and read the stories of others going through their journey of trust. I searched and couldn't find this online community. I'm not saying that there aren't online communities available but just that I couldn't find one.
So I have decided to create one. Perhaps you would like to join?
Here is some thoughts on why the Trusting God community could be needed and why you could consider joining.
