On June 4th, 2019, friends Carnell Sledge and Kate Brown met for a quick chat on a park bench in Cleveland's Rocky River Reservation, but within 14 minutes, they were the victims of a baffling, execution-style double homicide. This episode dives into the victims' close, supportive friendship, the evidence suggesting a targeted "hit", and leads involving jealous ex-partners leaving investigators to question if the motive was a targeted personal attack, an urgent meeting gone wrong, or a devastating hate crime.
