An outstanding narrative of the shootings from journalist Mark Gray whose first-person account of the tragedy was published in Rolling Stone Magazine the day after the event. When the Music Stopped, Her Life Changed Forever On October 1, 2017, Mary Jo von Tillow’s world changed forever. Her husband, Kurt, was killed in the Route 91 Harvest Festival mass shooting in Las Vegas, the deadliest in U.S. history. In just eleven minutes, her life-and the lives of thousands of others-were shattered. But what followed was more than grief. Out of devastation came unexpected bonds with other survivors, advocates, and families who knew the same kind of loss. From a 9/11 firefighter who turned his pain into kindness, to a victims’ rights attorney who changed national law, to fellow widows and survivors who refused to give up, Mary Jo discovered what it means to carry tragedy together.

Cuban exile turned CIA operative Ricardo “Monkey” Morales justifies his moniker by orchestrating decades of chaos in the world of international espionage.
The legend of Cuban exile turned US government operative Ricardo Morales Navarrete has been known in espionage circles for decades. Dubbed “The Monkey” for his disruptive and unpredictable escapades, Morales grabbed headlines for decades as tales of his bombings, arrests, assassination attempts (both those he executed and those he suffered), and testimony constructed a real-life spy adventure unlike anything brought to page or screen.
His story delves into diverse aspects of American history, including our nation’s conflict with Cuba, our anti-communism military support overseas, JFK’s story before and after the Bay of Pigs, and the explosion of the illegal narcotics industry in 1970s Miami. Morales was a contract agent for the CIA and a valuable asset for the FBI; he even shared how he’d met Lee Harvey Oswald at a CIA camp in Florida before JFK’s assassination. Morales’s counterintelligence skills-for-hire were also a prized utility for Cuban drug kingpins in Miami, many of whom were discarded ex-CIA operatives.
Monkey Morales blends James Bond, Rambo, and Scarface—a concoction of danger, politics, and family drama told in its entirety for the first time by authors Sean Oliver and Morales’s son, Ricardo Morales, Jr.About the AuthorSean has never carried out a contract bombing, but he is the author of eight books and a 2021 Writer’s Competition winner in the script category. He is an actor and voice artist with over a hundred major motion picture and TV credits. He currently teaches in New Jersey where he lives with his wife and two daughters.
Rick is the second of Ricardo Morales Navarrete’s four children. He has appeared on radio and podcasts for NPR, Actualidad Radio 1040 AM, Spyscape, The Opperman Report, and Rob Reiner and Soledad O’Brien’s Who Killed JFK. He is a father of two and lives in Michigan with his wife Cheri and cat Buddy.

https://wildbluepress.com/presiding-over-shadows-crime-memoir-michael-randazzo/
I am Judge Michael Randazzo, but by all odds, I never should have been. My story begins in a pop-up trailer-no electricity, no running water-born to parents who dropped out of high school and carried the weight of our family's excommunication from the Sicilian Mafia. I came into the world premature, delivered by a veterinarian, clinging to life while doctors warned I'd never catch up.
Crime and tragedy run through my bloodline: moonshining, sexual abuse, attempted manslaughter. My father struck deals with the Mexican Cartel and still battles opioid addiction. Every member of my family has been both perpetrator and victim. Yet, somewhere between generational sin and the chance to start over, I clawed my way through law school. Today, I serve as one of Missouri's youngest Presiding Circuit Judges.
This memoir is my confession and my exorcism. It's about the curse of inherited character flaws, the desperate hope to shield my children from them, and the heavy truth that even heroes-like my beloved Grandpa Nick-are deeply flawed. Each chapter opens a new door: from Grandpa Nick wrestling a grizzly bear to the darkest corners of family trauma, violence, and betrayal.
What does it take to rise above a legacy of darkness? How do you reconcile love for those who did unspeakable things? My life is proof that the past shapes us-but it doesn't have to define us.
This guy's life is amazing!!!
International bestselling author James Byron Huggins returns with the sequel to his novel Hunter, delivering a story of primal terror, relentless pursuit, and ultimate confrontation.
A brilliant but twisted Army scientist has done the unthinkable. He has become the beast, an ancient, prehistoric monster powerful enough to survive anything, even death itself. Buried beneath ice for ten thousand years, it was meant to stay forgotten. Now it walks again, leaving a trail of blood and destruction across the English countryside.
No conscience. No mercy. No weakness.
Only one man has faced the creature and survived. Hunter. Once again, he is called to do what no one else can: track and destroy the unstoppable before it consumes everything in its path.
Driven by duty, haunted by memory, and pursued by the past, Hunter must go beyond fear, beyond pain, and beyond human limits to end what began in a time before history.
The battle has begun. The world hangs in the balance.
This time, there may be no return.
In this haunting memoir, a clinical psychologist sentenced to 51 months for healthcare fraud confronts the harsh realities of federal prison. Incarcerated amid the chaos of the COVID pandemic, he endured a relentless odyssey through eight different prison facilities, caught in a near-perpetual cycle of transfer. Through his expert lens, Cruel and Unusual Punishment: A Memoir of the Psychological Realities of Federal Prison unveils the stark truth of an uncivilized, harsh, and insane system that erodes the very essence of humanity.
The author reveals a grim truth: extended exposure to the cruel environment of prison—crafted by government policy and the ruthless prisoner code—strips away humanity, pushing individuals toward savagery. Drawing from his own struggle to preserve his sense of self and the hard-earned wisdom of those who survived years of confinement, he offers a raw, introspective exploration of survival under psychological siege.
Countless prison memoirs exist, but many are marred by exaggeration, falsehoods, or a lack of objective clarity. Few offer the raw, unfiltered honesty found in this account.
This powerful narrative is a must-read for anyone seeking to understand the harsh realities of prison.

Sean Goff was a dynamic Pentecostal minister who was already running his own church by the age of twenty-two. He had wed a pliable teenager and bent her to his will, eventually convincing her to agree to his secretly taking a second wife named Joy. Although at first the clandestine arrangement worked well, problems soon began to surface.
Leif Wright, Sean’s friend and co-worker, confronted Sean about his hidden polygamous lifestyle, which threatened to scandalize their employer, a world-famous televangelist.
Sean’s foray into polygamy led to his association with an online community where he earned respect by dispensing advice to other evangelical polygamists. He derided divorce as the sign of a weak man who didn’t know how to lead his women. It was especially troublesome to Sean when Joy hinted that she wasn’t happy and wanted to have a meaningful career. Then Joy suddenly disappeared, although friends continued to receive her e-mails. The messages seemed strange, and some wondered whether she was really traveling around Europe.
Leif Wright takes his readers into the mind of a ruthless, controlling killer in this straight-from-the-headlines true crime saga, leaving us all to question just how well any of us really knows our neighbors, friends and spouses.

Kevin M. Sullivan turns from Ted Bundy to Adolf Hitler and the men who planned the HOLOCAUST, HOW COULD THEY DO SUCH HORRIBLE INHUMAN THINGS??
This show, featuring the lawyer for the family, was recorded in 2013. The cause of death -- suicide, accident or murder- was hotly debated but never investigated! It all ended in 2017! Here is the timeline
March 2, 2012 - Jacob Limberios dies of a gunshot wound to the head at a York Township home near Clyde. Sandusky County Coroner Dr. John Wukie rules the death a suicide.
June 4, 2012 - Sandusky County Prosecutor Tom Stierwalt asks prosecutor's office investigator Bill Kaiser to conduct a follow-up investigation. Kaiser says he thinks the death was "a horrible accident."
September 2012 - Renowned forensic pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht of Pittsburgh conducts the first autopsy on Limberios after being hired by Limberios' parents.
Oct. 19, 2012 - Limberios' parents sue Wukie in Sandusky County Common Pleas Court, seeking to force him to change the suicide ruling.
Dec. 12, 2012 - Wecht releases his opinion that Limberios' death was a homicide.
