Dealing with difficult people There are difficult people all around us. Who are difficult people? Problematic, demanding and plainly obnoxious. But we have to deal with them for one reason or the next. Either they are on your job, in your house or in community. You can’t shun them, you can’t get away from them you just have to coexist. A lot of people are so insecure about themselves that they enter into relationships only to gain power. Power in the sense of feeling better about themselves because someone is in need of them when truly deep down inside they are exploiting that persons weakness. There are people who even get married so they can feel some sense of power over someone to feed their own self doubt.

Pity comes from the need for attention. As children, we could have lacked that attention from our parents or older siblings and it causes you to want someone to feel sorry for you.
