We’ve learned how to recognize our triggers before a crash out, but what happens when the crash already happened? After a crash out, we have two options: experience shame or experience grace. WEEK 3: TRIGGERED // KEEP THE WINDOW OPEN: INCREASING THE WINDOW OF TOLERANCE // PASTOR MICHAEL TODD
We will never work on what we never recognize is an issue. Unaddressed triggers lead to a crash out.  In Week 3 of Triggered Pastor Michael Todd, we discovered that we all have a window of tolerance which is a zone that we can optimally function in when we manage our emotions properly.  Opposition and challenges keep our window of tolerance open. Opposition is not our enemy, it’s our authenticator! When we expand our relationship with discomfort, we grow in emotional maturity and increase our capacity to love, endure, and live like Christ.

Is your lack of emotional capacity shrinking your calling?There are people you are called to reach, but if your emotional capacity doesn’t make room for their differences, faults, and issues, you could be forfeiting your calling. In Week 2 of Triggered, Pastor Michael illustrated the need for believers to expand their emotional capacity so we can truly care for others and not be triggered by trivial things or personal pet peeves.
