A bit more about Trung:
I started writing on Seeking Alpha about 7 years ago and on private blogs before that, mostly to hear investors' opinions about my investment process. I was a bad investor, blindly picking stock initially and going into deep value investing because it seemed all businesses were investable if the price was right. I even co-hosted a value investing meetup in London for several years pre-covid. And I thought I had investing figured out, but now I know it was because the timing was right; we were in the middle of a strong bull market between 2013-2019. Then growth stocks came to the fore, and I got sucked in the FOMO; soon later, I went through the post-mortem analysis of my mistakes. I started Sleep Well Investing because I wanted to start fresh. I wanted to form an investing style that lasts. So, I refined my framework to address all the mistakes I have made from value to growth investing and that the stock I pick should bring me joy whenever I read about the business—this time, I want to own the business, not just buy the shares. You can see that most of my picks so far have been about businesses that serve people when they are in nature and doing things by hand. For example, Shimano and MIPS are in the bike component market, and FND and NVR are in the DIY and homebuilding segment. Also, this time, I wanted to do it with a purpose, which is to invest in my children's future and invest in businesses that would add value to their future. In combination, the marriage of joy, purpose, and elimination of mistakes in my value and growth stock days have led me to Sleep Well Investments. I hope to last as long as the businesses I write about and own.

Time in the Market is presented to you by Shareholder Vote Exchange, a platform that helps investors make money from their shareholder voting rights.
Shareholder votes are inherently valuable, yet nearly 80% of retail investors do not vote in any given corporate meeting. Shareholder Vote Exchange allows investors to generate additional returns by monetizing their shareholder votes. Selling shareholder voting rights in a stock does not affect one's economic ownership.
