In today's episode of my show Through a Trauma-informed Lens: Soma, Psyche and Soul, I am talking with Sophie Lee, whose work sits at the intersection of trauma-informed somatics and transformative storytelling. We talk about how Sophie weaves together her background in journalism, global communications, and her own lived experiences into a practice that helps individuals and organisations express truth in a way that is rooted, resonant, and deeply healing.

We speak about the systemic and embodied layers of communication, from navigating cultural nuance to understanding how trauma, social conditioning, and inherited narratives impact women’s visibility and voice. Sophie shares how her work was deepened by her recent completion of the Trauma-Informed Somatic Teacher & Coach for Women Certification, and how the training aligned with her work with ancestral trauma, somatic safety, and feminine leadership.

Sophie Lee is a speaker, storyteller, and founder of Electric Peach - a decentralised brand and visibility consultancy helping bold, brilliant people show up fully and make their mark without selling out or burning out. Her work sits at the intersection of self-expression, nervous system regulation, and brave communication. Through her group programmes, stage work, and 1:1 mentoring, Sophie helps people unlearn the pressure to be palatable and speak, create, and lead from the truth of who they are. A trained journalist with a background in brand strategy, she now combines somatic insight, creative storytelling, and visibility coaching to support individuals in being unignorable, on their own terms.
