After a few weeks apart, James and Conner reconnect and cover everything from 3D-printed cigar trays and PiHole setups to the latest AI oddities — including a Lysol commercial and James’s uncanny valley experience with the voiced Gemini search function. They discuss Marvel Rivals rankings, interview updates, and James's gripe with always-online games. The guys wrap things up by checking how much they have spent on Steam — and regret it immediately.
After about a two week break, James and Conner sit down to record another genre critique, and James forgets how to properly use his microphone. I promise the next episode audio won't be as bad, if you survive that is.
Conner and James set out to discuss the games they have been playing in passing and end up talking about pretty much everything else. Raising kids, pregnant wives, jobs searches and house hunts, Pope Leo, Pope Francis (may he rest in peace), and films. Just a good hour of two friends talking. Hope you enjoy.

Gaming has gotten a bad rap within Catholic discussion and Conner and James talk about it. Areas discussed include ordo amoris (not mortis, that would be death), our prayer life (or how we are failing and striving to be better), other ongoing struggles, how we met our wives, a little dating advice, and how we game now being married men. Its a rambling episode so just strap in and enjoy.

James and Conner reminisce about playing COD, specifically Modern Warfare 2. This 2009 title was developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. While first person shooters are a dime a dozen, especially in the mid to late 2000s, Modern Warfare 2 rose above the others with its superior writing, engaging game play, and fantastic multiplayer experience, especially coach co-op. A must play for any person who wishes to see what a good FPS is.
Rating.
L - Limited Audiance
Due to the violence of war though-out the game, including a now skippable level where the playable character participates in terrorist attack, we believe that this game is truly only for a limited audience. Some adults may find the violence incredibly disturbing.
Conner and James have been friends for many years now. They used to hang out, smoke cigars, and solve the worlds problems; you know like you do. But with James now living over 1,000 miles away, it has become harder to have the same kind of conversations. In today's episode, James and Conner pick up their old habit of answering questions and telling each-other their thoughts on the matter, the only difference is they have recorded their answers. Thanks to ChatGPT for providing the conversational prompts when searching 'hot takes about Catholicism for a podcast episode'.
Normal review episodes will come back around next week.

In our second episode of interviews of the co-hosts, James sits down with Joe to discuss Joe's gaming and faith history.
James ropes Scott to join in with Conner and Joe to discuss Terraria. Being that James had only 44 minuets of playtime in the game, he asked some of the local experts about the game. The discussion that follows goes all sorts of different ways, but that's pretty usual for this podcast now.
Review:
A2 - Adolescents and Adults
Some gore in the game (which can be turned off in the menu) and some unnerving looking enemies, namely the Wall of Meat and the flying eyeballs.
