After a long break, we are back with a new episode of the World of Heritage. Our guest is Abhijet from Bangladesh. He is studying world heritage studies third semester from year 20/21. Abhijet studied Bengali language & literature for his bachelor's degree at Khulna University. He won an award for ‘Best Social Action Project’ in ‘Active Citizens Regional Achievers Summit-17 organized by the British Council. He has been awarded as the Top 200 story writer of 'Sobai Vinno Eksathe Ononno Films 2020' organized by USAID. He is currently working as a writer and voice over artist for KUKU FM in Mumbai India while studying. Tune in and listen to his story!
Hello everyone! We are back with another episode of The World of Heritage podcast where we spoke to Jayne Linaker.
Jayne comes from Australia where she double majored in archaeology and ancient history at the Monash University in the Clayton campus. Not long after receiving her BA, she volunteered for both the Melbourne Museum and Immigration Museum as an educational assistant for nearly two years. Since then, she traveled to England working at the World Rugby Museum and the Islington Museum, and even Italy were she worked as a Site Assistant at Anna Tasca Lanza Cooking School and Regaleali Estate. Currently, she is a student assistant at BTU in Germany for Storytelling for Marketing and PR.

🔸Meetali was born and raised in Delhi, India, she studied her Bachelor in architecture and planning at the Guru Gobind Singh University and graduated in 2017. After graduation she got involved in a number of work experiences and projects as a research architect at the Indian National Trust for art and cultural heritage in New Delhi and a research associate and intern architect.
🔸Meetali got involved in a number of volunteer jobs as a coordinator for the World Heritage Watch, as a writer for the European Heritage Times and as a Web editor and content developer at the Esach organization in Germany

Ivan is from Borovichia, Russia. Ivan studied his bachelor's in Germany and Finland as part of a dual degree focusing on International Tourism Management and Hotel, Restaurant management. Currently, he is in his fourth semester of World Heritage Studies Master at BTU.
Knowing six languages Ivan has been able to work in the international Tourism sector as a coordinator, Guest relations Manager, Front office in Russia, Spain, and now as an international event coordinator in Germany.

Happy 14th of June! We are excited to be back with the 27th Episode of 𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕎𝕠𝕣𝕝𝕕 𝕠𝕗 ℍ𝕖𝕣𝕚𝕥𝕒𝕘𝕖 and a very interesting talk with Yesoo!
🔹Yesso is from Seoul in South Korea. Before starting her bachelors in Culture and Tourism Industries, she worked as an associate in Samsung Securities for 5 years. Throughout her bachelor studies, she worked as a teaching assistant in schools in Seoul and then went on an exchange semester to Karlsruhe in Germany which later led her to apply to the masters degree of Heritage conservation management in BTU Cottbus, Germany. 🔹She is now in the second year of her studies at the BTU and is currently doing an internship in Bergolo, Italy. She had quite a successful academic life, earning a number of scholarships in her masters time in Germany and volunteered in conservation projects with the European Heritage volunteers last year.

🔹Shatha is an architect from Bahrain with a passion for heritage and culture. After graduation, she received training at the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities by documenting facades of the houses along the Pearling Path, a World Heritage site, which then turned into a full time position where she was appointed to work within the Official Pearling Path team for almost 4 years.
🔹She decided to pursue her masters degree in World Heritage Studies in BTU where alongside her studies and working as a student assistant, she worked for a project at an intercultural organization Candid Foundation in Berlin performing tasks related to management.

She did her B.A. in Cultural and Social Anthropology at the Westphalia Wilhelm’s University in Münster, Germany. At the moment Rabea is in her second year of the WHS program at BTU. 🔹During her bachelor studies she did a semester abroad in Nairobi, Kenya. After that, she travelled a bit more through Zimbabwe and South Africa and then finished her bachelor's degree with the topic of Transcultural Psychiatry of the Sami in Scandinavia.

Devashree is an architect from India. Currently she is working as a student assistant at BTU where she is a masters student of World Heritage Studies. She is passionate about many things and one of which is talking about books. Very recently, she founded a book club at BTU @btu.bookclub . Other than that she aspires to finding out what links heritage and identity and exploring sustainable practices in tangible and intangible manifestations for the goal of the overall community and planetary well being.

Hi everyone in our 22nd episode of The World of Heritage we talked with Farzaneh. Farzaneh is from Tehran, Iran. She's in her 4th semester of World Heritage Studies. She did her B.A. in Tourism Management and her first master is also in Tourism management and marketing from Alametabatabei University in Tehran. While studying she was working in the tourism industry for almost 6 years as an outbound tour guide and tour operator. Through these years she lived and traveled in different countries and worked in different destinations such as Singapore, South Korea, Turkey, Russia, and India. However, after some time on the road, she felt the need to extend her academic path and study World Heritage Studies at the BTU. Listen to her story and her experiences!
Good Monday everyone! In our 𝟚𝟙𝒕𝒉 𝑬𝒑𝒊𝒔𝒐𝒅𝒆 of 𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕎𝕠𝕣𝕝𝕕 𝕠𝕗 ℍ𝕖𝕣𝕚𝕥𝕒𝕘𝕖, we had a great talk with Maria. Marija is from Montenegro 🇲🇪. She studied Tourism Management from 2011-2015 at the University of Montenegro. After traveling as a freelancer for some time she started the master of World Heritage Studies at the BTU in 2018. She did an exchange semester for five months in Winter 2019 with the Carthage University in Tunisia. As for her first study project, she participated in an excursion to the famous island of Skellig Michael which became known cause of the movie Star Wars. Marija's extracurricular experience is quite extensive: Coordinator for the European Heritage Training Course in 2020 in Austria, participating in a summer camp from the Cultural Heritage Without Borders Albania, volunteering at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. 🌞 Don't miss to listen to her updates and story and learn more about her home country Montenegro!

Andrea is from Spain. She did her Archaeology degree at the Complutense University of Madrid and did her second B.A. in Anthropology. She started her M.A. degree at the BTU in World Heritage Studies in 2017 and during that time, she did exchange semesters in the Helwan University in Cairo, Egypt, and the University of Carthage in Tunisia, both with scholarships.
She has done several internships in heritage-related fields and shared her experience with us.

Hi everyone! We had the pleasure to talk to Shari and very excited to share her story with you!
Shari is a 5th semester Heritage Conservation and Site Management Student at BTU. Shari was born and raised in Australia. She studied Archeology at the University of Western Australia in Perth and participated in a student exchange at the Durham University in England. She had her third Semester with Helwan Univerisity in Egypt and currently living in Germany and writing her Master's Thesis.
She has done many volunteering works like working as the representative of the Student Council of the heritage community and Group coordinator for the European Heritage Volunteers in three projects in Slovakia, Germany, and Kosovo and explained to us more about the HCSM program and her passions and experiences in the field.
