In this episode Joy and Laura break down Supernatural season 4 episode 7 “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester”. Sam and Dean investigate mysterious deaths in a small town just before Halloween, and discover that a witch is sacrificing people to summon the demon Sam-hain, and break another one of the 66 Seals that would unleash Lucifer.
We discuss “Sam Hain” (eye roll), how “ganked” is the word of the season, our initial thoughts about Uriel, and Sam’s first interaction with the angels and how he is a bit of a fan girl to start with.
We also discuss how Castiel’s character is developing, and he’s becoming more caring; and how the show is clearly setting up a good vs evil, angels vs demons final showdown involving the brothers who will possibly be on opposite sides in this battle!
