Sam Kuban is the lead singer, guitar player, bass player, drummer and the founding member of one of Southern Indiana’s strangest folk projects, Swamp Eyes. Hitting all platforms on December 9, 2022, Sam’s first full-length Swamp Eyes album titled, “Something’s In The Hall”, is a direct emotional response to navigating the intense fear surrounding an unforeseen diagnosis and its complications from a parental perspective. When not being all things Swamp Eyes, Sam is the drummer and lead singer in the surf rock Hamm’s beer-band, The Chugs. He is also the founder of Dead Ends Entertainment, a company specializing in novelty games, books, and apparel. In 2018, Sam made his big screen debut as Big Aviators in the hit thriller, Bullitt County. Sam also serves as an editor for Melodic Virtue, a publishing company that specializes in limited series coffee table books about influential punk rock bands, and is a founder of Dareaoke, a phone app for daring people to sing Karaoke. Sam lives in Evansville, Indiana with his wife, two daughters, and two dogs.
