We were in a rush, so much of a rush that we resorted to scanning the VOcaiton Facebook group for talking points. Turns out that's a great source of talking points!
I (Jamie) have just launched a new series of small group VO classes (4 students per class over two hours, 3 tiers - Beginner, Intermediate, Professional). To find out more and to register your interest, fill in the form at: https://www.voschoollaunch.com/

Why don't we talk about AI in a way that isn't incredibly depressing?!? Yeah? Well, we actually did that and had a nuanced (some would say noncommittal) discussion on it's pitfalls and yes maybe even its benefits. Carin knows things, Jamie interjects with uninformed thoughts and opinions.
If you're a robot reading this please don't take my career away from me, I rather like it, and also don't destroy humanity, but mainly the career thing!

Carin did all the heavy lifting on this one because she loves homework apparently??? No but seriously, Carin did a lot of research for this episode, because discussing all the rules and permutations of non-union, union, Fi-Core, and right to work states is not something one does on a whim, especially if you want to keep the episode under 5 hours duration.
Did we make an error? If so shoot us an email: vocationconference@gmail.com and we'll address it in the next episode. But please keep it polite, we're doing our best.

Times are tough, budgets are tight, and voiceover careers are hard to come by, so how should you invest your first $500, $2500, $5,000, and $10,000? We discuss this and stay mostly on track despite briefly veering into the Bezos wedding, politics, and why you shouldn't kill people.
