Ash and Ari have left their cosy home and have discovered Phantom Peak during their Burning Blimp festival. Ash believes that it's a hidden gem for planning at, while Ari thinks it's a fun day out that she will mark in her planner afterwards. Either way, they discuss why they recommend the place and their different ways to log going to a fictional town that is interactive.
The pair will be doing another episode after Hallowed Peak to check in with how they have been recording their time at Phantom Peak in their planners. If you also attend, then let us know via Instagram or comment below.

Ash and Ari interview the first guest of Series Two, Joanne from Josephine Bow. Discussing the origins of the shop name and why foil is a key element in Josephine Bow's designs. Also, Ash grabs the opportunity to have an advent chat. Joanne shares her advice as well as how she comes up with her ideas. Ari asks about dream themes, and the answer thrilled the pair so much they agreed off mic that if Joanne ever went ahead with it, they would order 5.
Also mentioned was Joanne's other business that she runs with Oakley Crystal Cruches, which you can check out here!
We hope that if you don't know Josephine Bow already, you will check out the shop's Instagram here

You might know our guest this week from her Instagram and YouTube channel; on the PR teams of many shops over the years (currently for Plannerface and Josephine Bow), one-third of the team that ran the planner event PlanPlanPlan in 2019 or perhaps soon for being one-half of a team behind something else...
Ash revealed they like to call Beth the Taylor Swift of the planner community due to her versatility with the different planners she has had over the years, plus her willingness to spread herself across the planner community in as many ways as possible. You may have even seen her behind Josephine Bow's stall at some events. Most importantly, she uses all the above to connect with people; she told us many stories of making planner friends on and off the microphone. It's hard not to notice how much insight she has of the planning community, both past and present. Whether she is taking you on the highs and lows of her week while planning on YouTube, cheering you on in the comments or making a 5-minute catch-up feel like a 2-hour coffee with a friend. Like Taylor, she isn't afraid to collaborate, and we can't wait to hear more about her next era.
Ash and Ari discuss how different their spreads would be if they portrayed their dream life instead of reality.
Also, they break down what they liked about the advents they got in 2024... mainly purchased by Ash.
Shops of advents discussed:
Scribble By Starlight's 24 day advent
Cute Stickers Only's Kawaii Cafe Advent Josephine Bow's two advents

Additionally, they discuss how various Patreon communities have become gateways to supportive and engaging mini-communities.

While we are away on holiday we didn't want people wanting to wait a month for another episode, so we have an episode from our archive. It's didn't pass our quality control due to some background breathing that we couldn't remove..
But otherwise it's a lovely chat about planner advent calendars.
