August 20, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 13 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to discussing the recent transactions made by the Pittsburgh Steelers that included the team parting ways with rookie undrafted free agent WR Roc Taylor. We go over why Taylor might have been jettisoned a few days ago. The Steelers had free agent WR Gabe Davis in for a second visit on Tuesday, so Alex and I discuss him reportedly leaving Pittsburgh unsigned once again. We address how Davis would fit with the Steelers if he is ultimately signed and what a contract for him would look like. August 18, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 12 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to discussing the Pittsburgh Steelers bringing in four long snappers for tryouts on Sunday on the heels of LS Christian Kuntz getting injured on Saturday night early in the team's second preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccerers. Later in this show, the news breaks that Kuntz might have a broken sternum so we discuss that news and what it might mean for him come the start of the 2025 regular season. We also go over a few things from DL Logan Lee and the long snapping that he did Saturday night after Kuntz left the game injured. Adam Schefter of ESPN passed along the news of the Steelers signing free agent CB Kam Alexander during this show, so Alex and I make sure to pass along that tidbit on this Monday as well. We go over what it sounds like Cameron Heyward is waiting in terms of his contract being adjusted, what he might and might not get as an end result and the several types of pushbacks he has received concerning the topic. Would Cameron Heyward seriously consider missing games in 2025 due to his contract situation? We discuss that question and also go over several other questions related to his contract wants and how that has been handled by his side this offseason. Keeping with the Heyward theme, Alex and I discuss Steelers TE Connor Heyward in this show. We talk about how safe his spot on the 53-man roster seems to be right now and if the Steelers should look outside the organization for a possibly upgrade to be their fourth tight end.
