Vegetable stew is a simple south Indian curry made with lots of vegetables. It's highly nutritious, comforting, and a delicious recipe that your kids will love.
This recipe is customizable, which basically means you can add vegetables of your choice. Usually this recipe is made with fresh coconut milk but I know that it's a little tough job to extract milk from coconut and it is time-consuming too.
And knowing all the busy moms out there who are trying to spend as much less time as possible in their kitchens, without compromising on the taste of food, I thought of making the same recipe with normal milk.
And guess what It came out really well. The taste was simply awesome.
You can find the recipe along with the step-by-step process at https://thetastesofindia.com/vegetable-stew

Thekua are crisp crunchy cookies flavored with traditional Indian spices. These delicious deep-fried cookies are a family favorite. If you love crunchy cookies, try this traditional Indian recipe today!
Yes, this recipe has a very typical name but trust me it has a very opposite taste. Traditionally this recipe is made with wheat flour and Jaggery the recipe for which I will be sharing soon.
But this can also be made using all-purpose flour. People used to make the different designs on these cookies using "Thekua mould".
It is a wooden block with designs engraved on both sides. So when you press the dough onto it with the side of your palm, the imprint of the design on the saancha (Thekua mould) is transferred over the surface of the Thekua.
Thekua is very popular in North and East India and has been served as a sweet snack for centuries in some of these places.

The dish is made with slices of bread that are deep-fried until crispy and then soaked in fragrant sugar syrup. The bread slices are then topped with a creamy and luxurious layer of thickened sweetened milk known as rabri, which is flavored with cardamom and saffron.
The dessert is often garnished with chopped nuts such as almonds, pistachios, or cashews, which add a crunchy texture to the soft and creamy dessert. Some variations of Shahi Tukda may also include rose water or other flavors to enhance the overall taste and aroma.
