In this episode we had the pleasure to sit together with Therese Grohnert and Wim Gijselaers. Both of them are professors at the School of Business and Economics of Maastricht University. Together, they coordinate their course Theories and Models of Learning in the Master of Learning and Development in Organisations, conduct research on decision making and expertise development, and consult leaders and businesses to improve learning at the workplace. We hope you enjoy the episode as much as we did!

In this episode, we had the pleasure to have Laurie Delnoij as the first guest on the podcast. Laurie is an assistant professor at the School of Business and Economics of Maastricht University and is currently preparing the final defence of her Dissertation at the Open University of the Netherlands. In her PhD, she investigated how students' study decisions come about and how they can be improved. This is also what our conversation with her centred around. We talked about the messiness of decision making, what factors influence study decisions, and what universities and prospective students can do to improve study decisions.
In case you want to reach out to Laurie, you can do so via her university email: l.delnoij@maastrichtuniversity.nl
We hope you enjoy the episode!
In this episode, we follow up on the previous episode by talking about our own experience with choosing to go to university. Based on our experiences, we try to give some tips for people who are wondering about whether they should apply for university. Enjoy!
We are back after the winter break. In this episode we let our ideas in relation to university and education in the broader sense flow, talking about what university has to offer, what it sometimes lacks, and when it can push its students too far. Enjoy!
