You cannot grasp the true form of Giygas' attack!
After awakening from his coma / spirit quest to the realm of Magicant, Ness and his friends return to Saturn Valley where Dr. Andonuts and Apple Kid (with the help of the Mr. Saturns) make the final preparations on the Phase Distorter in order to track down Giygas! They soon discover that Giygas is attacking from the distant past and the only way to defeat him is to transfer the spirits of the four chosen children into adorable robots that they can then send back in time to the Cave of the Past where they battle against the nightmarish entity (and Pokey) for the fate of the universe! Will Paula's prayers be enough to save us from this existential dread?

"You created Magicant, the realm of your mind. In Magicant, there's beauty, kindness, sorrow, and hatred. Of course, there's an evil and violent side to you..." - A Mysterious Old Man
After unlocking the final sanctuary sound from the Fire Spring (last time in the Lost Underworld), Ness falls into a coma and his consciousness awakens in the bizarre dreamscape realm of Magicant! We soon discover that this dimension was created from his memories as he's confronted with bittersweet reminders of his past including long lost friends, his younger self, and even enemies he's vanquished. In order to escape back to Earth, Ness must face off against several nightmare entities (with a little help from the physical embodiment of his courage) on his quest to reach the Sea of Eden - where he must confront his own dark side...

"Talk to the Rock. It's important." - A Talking Rock
On the latest episode in our epic "EarthBound" saga, we head back to the Onett library to steal a book about 'overcoming shyness' (by anonymous) to give to the leader of the Tenda Village in order to gain access to a hole leading underground. After another psychedelic tea trip, fighting our way through a legion of random monsters, and having our innermost private thoughts broadcast to the world on a billboard, we make our way to a Lost Underworld, inhabited by dinosaurs - at the Center of the Earth! And finally, we fight a Pokémon, reach the Fire Spring, and record the final sanctuary melody...

"You're much stronger (whirrr) than our intelligence indicated... We were not (beep) prepared for that eventuality... The prophecy from the (click) Apple of Enlightenment may be true... but you must not (whirrr) underestimate us." - Starman DX
Our journey through "EarthBound" continues! After a quick ride on Dungeon Man's Yellow Submarine from the deserts of Scaraba, we trudge through the swampy jungle of Deep Darkness where we encounter a monkey village, a shady business man taking advantage of the locals, and the return of Master Belch (now Master Barf). From there we find a cave of 'shy willies' in Tenda Village, then head back to Winters to rescue Apple Kid, Tony, Mr. Saturn, and Dr. Andonuts from the secret alien base beneath Stonehenge... We fight our way through a legion of robots, recover the Sword of Kings, and slay the Starman Deluxe!

"Fuzzy Pickles!" - The Photographer from the Sky
Before sailing for Scaraba to fight the Kraken, our heroes must first take a random detour from Summers back to Fourside in order to... get a signed banana from Venus?! They then trudge through the sewers, get possessed by a trash can ghost, face off against the dreaded Plague Rat of Doom, feed a carrot key to some rabbit statues back in Dalaam, fight a pair of poisonous floating lips, an electrocuted guy, a nightmarish snake-man, and a pair of elemental deities in order to get to the mysterious Pink Cloud sanctuary...

"Fuzzy Pickles!" - The Photographer
After returning to Threed from Fourside, our heroes take the Skyrunner back to Winters for a pit stop (where we fight a giant shroom) on the way to the resort town of Summers! Ness, Paula, and Jeff navigate around the tourist traps, splurge like they're on vacation, catch some rays on the beach, try some Kraken soup, get stalked by a creepy photographer, visit the Scaraba Cultural Museum, get lost in the Stoic Club, and eat some (psychedelic) "magic cake"! Meanwhile, in the far away land of Dalaam, Prince Poo is meditating when he encounters the spirit of his ancient ancestor...

On the latest trip through "EarthBound", our heroes find themselves in a weird parallel dimension known as "Moonside" where they fight melting clocks, sentient gas pumps, 'abstract art', and a mysterious golden statue! We then go on one of the strangest / most tedious side quests in gaming history as we make our way through a labyrinth of monkeys for a trout-flavored-yogurt-machine that we then need in order to gain access to the top floor of the Monotoli Building, to save Paula... again... where we're then attacked by a legion of robots?!
